In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned nearly two years ago for poking fun at a photo shopped picture of an admin and then banned again around 4 months ago for ban evading for 3-4 months as a police officer under the alias willy wiles.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Arma wise just playing king of the hill and exile but ive mostly played sport sims like NBA and some overwatch. ive also dabbled in other types of arma rp but not altis life particular. i also take part and help the Samaritans with a suicide prevention campaign called #teamshanksy after someone in my family passed due mental health issues. https://gyazo.com/4f687cdeed59398c6fcc3aa690bb6a29
Why do you want to return ?
well quite simply its the best community/server for altis life. Ive played as police in many other servers but they are too lenient with rules so the roleplay and gunfights etc. are very minor and not fun at all. Beside from the actual playing part, i love this community ive played here for a long time and i have made some great internet and even irl friends through it, this community/server has gave me a real platform not only to play arma on but to create a secondary social life full of fun, entertainment and comedy. Honestly previous to my bans i hated the admins on here i was under the impression they were power hungry people that were just harsh because they had the power to be, now i see they are only protecting something they have put effort in creating and for that i only respect them, im not trying to suck up to them to win points im passed doing that now that ive been banned for a long long time i just want to share my real opinion on RPUK, sadly this new mature opinion on the higher ups here came to late to stop myself from tarnishing my rep or stopping me from getting myself banned.
Why should we unban you ?
I've been banned for very very long time, if theres anyone who can say that the discipline system here has taught me a lesson itd be me. now of course me ban evading completely and utterly throws that statement in the dirt but my honest plan with the ban evading was to show people i was able to play here without being a tool, i joined the police and the medics and done very well but sadly when joining the rebels i was caught out resulting in my inevitable ban. Ban evading was incredibly stupid but i done it after being banned for a large amount of time i craved playing here and sadly i went around it the wrong way. I just want to play as police and medic on the server and enjoy myself again. Forget the keyboard stuff, no internet warrior stuff. Just from a standard guy i just want to be able to enjoy myself on a platform you guys have built and by letting me do that id be extremely grateful and ill not disappoint myself or the community again. Id just love the opportunity to prove im not an immature kid anymore and im perfect for this community. even if its strict terms like i can play an hour at a time as a medic and someone watches me i just owe it to myself to prove im not what my reputation leads me on to be. i've left school, work and drive i dont want to be looked as a little salty teen as anymore and its my fault thats the way it is and i want to change that. also i can only apologize to a certain degree with a keyboard but id leap on the chance to come into ts and vocally apologize to anyone who feels offended by anything i said back when i got banned. Ive sat in vladics stream and spoke to him and other admins and had day to day standard convos with them im not a little kid who believes the RPUK admins are the worst thing put on the earth anymore. Tiny big jacko told me on stream once that 'worse people have been rehabilitated' and ive kept that in mind every time ive tried to make my way back in the server and im definitely not ready to giver up now that i feel im ready to come back and be a general good addition to the server. Lastly by putting this unban up im going to lose a lot of friends in other communities who still have a bad view of the people here but im willing to deal with this because at the end of the day these people only had a bad view of this server after they were banned and like myself would jump on any chance to get back on here but unlike them i will happily admit it and follow up by never getting banned again.
