In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

i was banned for fail rp basically i was banned for placing someone in handcuffs after the restraints had fell off him without him having his hands up as i thought nothing of it at the time . the perm had resulted as i had received another ban just a month prior to this ban.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

baring this in mind i was instructed by drew that i could place this up substantially early after having a discussion in team speak with him. but anyways in the last 3 weeks i haven't done much different than what i would normally ive been visiting the team speak everyday and as well as the forums, i just obviously haven't been getting on the server . ive been chatting with a few friends and have found out really how much i do miss this server.

Why do you want to return ?

i would really like to return as i feel i am a well known member amongst the community and get along with everyone. i have never had a report about me in any negative way. i have fully understood what i did was wrong and with this in mind i have re read the rules 2 times im hoping to return as i love the communtiy i have made many great friends from it and any time i come on arma i feel that i cannot truly have fun because everyone that i usually really get along with and play with is on this server. i cant express enough how much i now realise that i messed up and i am hoping to be able to come back with a new positive outlook on the community. yes what i did was wrong but i hope i could have one last chance to prove i am a valuable member of the community and i really miss all the shenanigans u can get up to within role-play. i am also hoping to return to the medics as i was having really good fun on their and got to the rank of surgeon. i feel that if u were to give me this one last chance i can prove to you my worth for the community this is the best server I have ever played on and have made so many great fun experiences threw role-play and threw meeting people on team-speak .

Why should we unban you ?

the reason i am just going to copy and paste the "why i think u should unban me" is because all of this is still relevant and i feel i had put a lot off effort into it and it is what i believe is the best way i could have worded it .....i think u should unban me as i am fully aware of what i had done wrong and i can fully justify the reason for the ban and i am very apologetic for what had happened, basically what had occured was i was with the gang tck on as a cop and someone was being rather annoying towards them so they felt it was necessary to raid his house i did try and stop them however they told me that i would be shot if i tried anything in actual fact I had whispered to him saying that I wasn’t going to do anything as I was with them , moving on from this they had zip tied him and for some reason as to no fault of anyone the zip ties had glitched presumably because they had been on for a while so i believed at the time i was doing the right thing by restraining him for them as I was with them and thought that he had restrain glitched, baring in mined i do fully understand now that it is not my job to restrain him and stop a rule break and I really should not have got involved in anyway whatsoever and if he were to rule break and run away then that would be up to tck to talk to staff about it. So after I had put on the handcuffs for a split second I thought to myself that I had messed up and unrestrained him but then I thought it should be fine i then again placed them on him (baring in mind he was not moving in any direction and was just standing there )if he had in fact tried to run I would not have just threw them on him or anything like that tck then said to the man to place his hands up as the cuffs had glitched and it looked like he was just holding his binos. so i ran over unrestrained him and they continued to ask him to put his hands up he never and just as i believe zivdol was about to shoot him he ran.
from this i thought he had not valued his life and had possibly restrain glitched too , but after looking back on the situation I seen that it was me who had unrestrained him and just had been confused at the tim, so I took it upon myself again to interfere with what had happened and as he was already shot by one of the guys I thought that that would have been the initiation on both ends as I am with and still a part of tck .As he ran away i decided to follow him after he had already been shot at and i was going to do an rp scenario of where i try and be his lawyer and talk them out of it but in actual fact I really wasn’t I was going to be corrupt about the whole thing with him pretty much leading to him being executed ,so moments after i taze him without initiation baring in minded the hole time I was acting as a corrupt cop and the guy who had been tazed knew I was with them as zivdol had said to him that I was on his pay roll ,so I don’t understand why it would be classed as rdm as I was with the gang who had initiated on him regardless of this fact I understand why it would seem that I had just tazed him without initiation and in fact breaking a rule when doing so . he starts calling me a corrupt cop etc and i decided not to bother with the trying to be his lawyer and roleplay further with him/help him etc and decide just to let tck deal with it baring in mind the guy was giving really poor rp the hole time. All i really heard him say was that i was a corrupt cop and i was to burn in hell and jesus was to kill us all or some variation along the lines of that . i am genuinely sorry for what had happened and know that i should not have tooken it into my own hands to taze / restrain him when i believed he had restrain glitched and I am sorry and I am full aware of the fact that it is classed as fail rp bye putting the cuffs on him without saying anything. i also know that even if he had restrained glitched that does not give me the right to cuff him without any sort of roleplay so again it was an accident i feel i am a well known member of the community and hope that the ban would be reconsidered , but again I cant stress enough that I do infact understand fully the rules i broke and why the ban was placed.

Firstly, I appreciate the effort and time you have placed into your appeal, very rare to see lately. Secondly, I have spoken to you on teamspeak about this appeal and you no my opinions. I initially did not agree with a full 6 month ban however, I do believe you needed some time out since being banned for silly things. Would you like to explain your past bans to me and what have you learned from all this?

my past ban is a really long story,i had recieved my last ban for solely rage quitting, it wasnt to save gear it was just because i was mad at the time after spending so long role playing for it to end up my death anyways it was a stupid mistake that would and will never happen again. i learned alot from my last ban i learned how much following rules is valuable to keep this community the way it has greatly been built up to be.This ban was just a true mistake, i wasnt really thinking as i had just left house (irl) and had alot on my mind, i joined on the server as a little break from all the stress of real life  and i feel the server can turn a crap day into a great one , meeting new faces and having fun role-play is something i have enjoyed doing alot through the server and i hope to have one more chance . from all of this i have learned alot and to definitely not come on when u have irl things to deal with as u should not  bring it into the game, i hope to get one more chance as i feel the month i have been off for has made me realise how  much i do love this community, and howmuch i desire to get back as it really does mean alot to me, i have made many good friends threw a game that i never thought i would even enjoy to start off with. i hope that every thing that i have said could make this come to a conclusion ,as i really would be great full if u could allow me back on to play with everyone who makes the server fun.

Okay, after reading your reply, I have gathered an opinion on the type of player you are in our community, So would you agree, in your past, some mistakes have been made in which you have acted before thinking in some cases? Does this sound correct? I am not one to question your thought process as everyone is different and handles things in their own way. However if you wish to continue being in this community and being apart of RPUK that in future, you need to take a step back and evaluate situation before they occur. Do you agree? 

Many people have been banned in the past for not taking the time to have a minute to think before they act, some people learn from it, some don't. I'm hoping that you are they type to learn from this.

You have given me a lot of detail regarding the ban and why we should un ban you, If possible I would like you to tell me if you can, in your own opinion have you ever excelled at helping any one in the community and gone that extra mile to make them feel welcome in the community or anything similar which shows to me that other than a couple of silly mistakes that you are an asset to the community and should be allowed to reintegrate with RPUK

thanks for the reply and yeah i can fully admit that sometimes i have done stuff that i just haven't thought about first as does everyone , people slip up all the time and that is why i am here. as i have previously said i know i messed up .these silly little mistake are not aloud. i feel i am a valuable member of the community because i have helped people out alot,in the police i would always give people money to help them start out, i have even been a taxi driver offering free rides to people just for the rp , i have also made a few suggestions on the forums and doing little extra bits in hope that one of my suggestions might even get implemented into this great community, i believe i am an asset to the community as i have never been reported for breaking any rules other than when the admins have seen me i genuinely just slipped up in these two occasions and i promise it will not happen again, i love my position i have in the nhs as a surgeon ,also i recently got into the air rescue team. i believe this shows that i am willing to help people and most importantly i am here  for the roleplay i have never had an accusation against me for fail rp or rdm before and i think this 7 weeks i have been away for has shown me the expectations needed for this community, i believe i can reach these expectations and before i had been meeting them as i have multiple recommendations on the forums for good rp etc its just these times have been stupid silly mess ups that have just been idiotic and i promise they will not happen again,

if u seem fit i am willing to accept any punishment that may come of this i just really want to get back on the server to play with my friends again.

It's fair to say, I know a lot of people speak very highly of you when your name is mentioned, which is nice to hear. Regarding the reason as to why you was banned I have seen the video that was recorded by the staff member at the time in admin cam, I can see that during that video you as a Police Officer was benefiting your friend's TCK who was having fun with the hobo. You was essentially allowing them to rob him and have some fun rather than calling back up. Your ban message sound's a lot worse than the video, however still stupid mistakes that led you to this appeal section today. 

Due to my opinion on disagreeing with the 6 month ban, I still felt you needed a break to remember the type of community we are here, we are here to have fun and enjoyment but also follow a rule set so that it is enjoyable for everyone else. With this in mind, I will be talking with the rest of the staff leads to gather more opinions and find the correct outcome of this appeal.
