In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Back in may 2017 I got caught up in some altercations with the police with an Ascension gang fight, I simply can not remember a lot as it was over 1 year ago but I remember supposedly getting restrained by the cop at the time (DI Fade) and it glitched out as for him he restrained me but I had no idea I was as it didn't actually work as at the time it was a small bug and I got into his hunter and drove off. It is understandable as from his point of view it would of looked like I just exploited a glitch but it was completely accidental as I had no idea what went on. When I got my ban for exploiting I was obviously very confused and when trying to speak to DI Fade about it he wasn't up for it which was understandable but it frustrated me as I would never attempt something like that.
I also did bug a lot of the Admins and Management off this server shortly after being banned to talk about the situation and I spammed a lot of them and clearly was a pest, in addition to that I was a stupid troll as I can't quite remember this but I did advertise another server to some members of the UNMC or something like that as I was clearly just being a punk kid that was more than salty at the time. A very cliche thing to say is that 'I've changed and matured' seeing it's only been 1 year and I'm a year older I have most definitely matured from it.
I caused the staff team of this community a lot of trouble for my situation and I was stupid for advertising and trolling on the this server.
I had no control over the initial 'supposed exploiting' situation with the police officer with the restraints at the Ascension gang base at the time as I simply could not help it as from my point of view from it I simply had nothing to indicate that I was restrained and a small bug on the server at the time clearly caused this to happen and it is fine, but I certainly well did have control over the fact that I trolled on the server on teamspeak as I was caught up in a gang of mostly hooligans, some of them are good genuine people but most are toxic and certainly not ment for any arma 3 RP server, I tried to fit in with them and be 'cool' and it just resulted in a bad from being a toxic little punk kid, and I have learned from this stupidity.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Working a part time, college and fitness. I have not really played arma recently at all and gotten into it as it feels a little bit boring for me to play now unless I hope on some of the other RP servers but none of them really give me the sort of satisfaction and enjoyment that this one did last year. There are some other cool servers but none compare to this one and none can compare to the memories I had from this server.
I have been getting into fitness a lot and eating healthy and it has made a major difference to my life and made me a lot happier recently, getting better foods, and more exercise. Also I've been doing a bit of programming on the side and enjoying it and been getting a lot better at it!
Why do you want to return ?
I want to return to this community as I truly think I have reformed positively as an arma 3 RP player and a person, my lifestyle, the way I treat people and my ethics have changed in the past year ofcourse and I think it is all down to my dedication to fitness and eating healthy, it has brought me away from my computer and video games and I think now is the perfect time to return to RPUK whilst being away from here for over a year I have had a pretty significant break and I now know to not get caught up in stupid gangs that have 0 interest in RP, I always had come here for the pure reason to have a great time meeting new friends and roleplaying but them elements of the game soon got teared away from me as I joined ascension as we got in drama and things like that and I just want to come back and Roleplay with other players and cause no harm.
I also miss the great days of roleplaying with random people and getting into interesting situations that were awesome and enjoyable for hours upon hours, I could play this server all night long like no other server out there and it has been a very long time since I have Roleplayed here and I would love to change that and come back a completely different player.
Why should we unban you ?
Firstly It has been over a year since I have player on this server and since I was initially permanently banned, I have completely changed my ways, obviously 1 year doesn't change a person a whole lot but it is more than enough time to mature from silly things like this and stupid things I have done on this community and I think I have had a long enough break so far from this server to completely reset myself from all nonsense I have done here, and I am more than happy to talk about anything I have previously done and also I'm more than happy to come to an agreement with management about a weapon ban, or just play in a faction for x amount of time to prove myself that I do just want to return for the roleplay element of this server and that is all I want.
I also just want to chill and talk to people and RP, I don't want to get myself in any stupid gangs or anything like that, it is just fun for me and for all the previous times on this community I have been banned for I have learned from and since I have been permanent banned my mind has not focused on arma 3 RP at all, apart from occasionally going on a few rp servers but not seriously and I think this break has been worth while, I have also kept up to date on the updated RPUK rules and read about on the forums to just check what's happening ( I done this last night on this account).
I would love another shot on this community as it has been a while and I did miss it, and as I say I'm very much happy to come to some sort of agreement for me on here, e.g play a certain faction for x amount of time, no weapons just RP as that is all I want to return for. I thank the Admin that reads this and I respect the choice made for my situation.
