In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for being a part of the gang Morrison's as many of the gang's members including myself were mass breaking rules such as mass RDM, mass VDM, I was also in a team speak channel on another server with a derogatory name on the channel and played with an immature name.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
In the last 6+ months I have taken a step back from Arma and disassociated myself from members of Morrison's I once called my friends. I have been trying to focus on other aspects of my life such as sitting my final school examinations, getting a job and rekindling my relationships with my IRL friends.
Shortly after getting banned I tried to play on other communities with the same group but found I was not getting the same experience I once got on ALUK and was just playing because I was following the group.
I also took a step back from PC gaming and recently again been playing games such as CS:GO, Fortnite, Runescape and LOL.
Why do you want to return ?
I want to return to RPUK because this was the first server I joined back in November 2015, I have been a member of the community for nearly 3 years I have stayed out of trouble up until the ban.
Over the three years playing I have met tons of great people and made friends who I still talk to and play games and experienced consistently having fun which not a lot of other games or communities offer.
Although my friends are not the only reason I want to return. I feel RPUK is the only good RP server can do a great job at keeping a great level of role play but also includes combat which overall makes it a fun experience that I really miss. I miss the feeling of being able to come home from a stressful day of school or after to study being able to come on the TeamSpeak or the in-game server and talk to people from all over the world about everything and anything and put reality on hold for a while. I miss being apart of such an established community and having a sense of belonging and sharing our passion for role play and PC gaming. I have seen this community greatly develop into what it is today and I would love to be apart of it in the future, I just ask for forgiveness for my idiotic choices.
Why should we unban you ?
Firstly I would like to apologise for what I done, I apologise for choosing the most childish way to leave the server as it is just more grief for the admin team to deal with, my actions were completely immature and inexcusable and I am truly sorry for it. In the last 6+ months I have matured a lot and thought about how idiotic I was being, I realise I made a big mistake, this was my first ban since joining the community nearly three years ago. Nearing the end of my time in the community I feel I was getting more and more lenient on following the rules of the server which eventually led me to breaking probably the most serious rule of all, looking back on it now I feel it just wasn't like me and recognise this is a adult community now and want to take it more serious than I did, if I am to be given another chance I can prove myself I have changed and will have a positive attitude from then on and stay away from any trouble that may come my way.
I honestly have no idea what I was thinking, I did not take into consideration the consequences of my actions, and how I was ruining peoples experiences on the server and I am sorry for this, I was incredibly naive and want to take full responsibility for my mistakes. Now looking back at the whole situation I am disappointed in myself because before then I had never stepped out of line, I was always respectful to other members of the server and kept to myself. I am not a bad person, all I want is an opportunity to prove myself to Staff and members of the community and would be willing to accept any terms that I am offered.
Looking back I see how dumb and immature it was for me to be in that team speak room with those people, I am not a racist person nor do I have anything against Vladic Ka, I am sorry if I offended Vladic Ka or anyone else for that matter, I only joined it because that is where people were speaking, when I first joined the channel it was not named as it was when I got banned, it was named "ALUK refugees". After the channel was renamed I stayed in it for near most a day, now looking back at it I see it was just a insulting thing to do and it was unneeded.
I am aware this is not something that can happen accidental and it was not an miss interpretation of the rules, I was wrong big time partaking, all I hope is you can forgive me and grant me another chance to show you I am not a toxic person and I have changed truly and I mean what I say.
