In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

1.6 - I think I was banned because I was in a room called something along the lines of "Banning Room" in the private OG discord while people were attempting to mass RDM. This is only what I think and could be incorrect. I would like to make it clear however that I joined the room shortly after they'd been banned after I'd found this out. I do regret this and realise that it was a stupid decision to do what I did.
8.1.5 - I misunderstood the rule but still take full responsibility for my actions and I do apologise.
I also made the stupid decision to make a false account under the name Jim Williams as I wanted to be able to be on the forums but worried if I had made a Ziffy_UNBAN account I would just be banned instantly. This was a knee jerk decision that was stupid of me and I apologise for it.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

It has not been 6 months.

Why do you want to return ?

I would like to return because I would like to continue playing arma in a friendly, non-toxic community as opposed to one with non-enforced rules and nobody can get along. In fact if I don't get unbanned here it is highly likely I will stop playing Arma altogether because for me, nothing on Arma other than RPUK is fun. From the bottom of my heart me saying that is genuine, and not just sucking up for the sake of the appeal.

Why should we unban you ?

Well, to be completely honest I try not to be toxic and keep out of trouble but I always seem to end up in it where often I am not the person directly committing the major rule breaks for example what I was permed for last time. This is still my fault however, because I seem to often make knee jerk decisions, which land me in shit, and it is clear I have a problem with who I surround myself with. I swear I will try my absolute best to keep away from trouble and troublesome people. Everything I have done I regret and I will do everything I can to keep the community clean and myself out of trouble.

@Ziffy_UNBAN less than a month ago a golden chance was given with some solid advice, it was actually personalised to you, it was a how to not get banned again guide

You ignored it completely and here you are with people who didn’t care about Roleplay didn’t care about the server planning to get banned with another one of those sprees that gives someone a giggle for 5 mins but isn’t remembered.

Now some members of OG did care about the server enough to come forward by disagreeing with there friends actions, those people are not banned and have our full respect and can be proud in saying there part of this community

So tell me ziffy in detail what was going on and what part you played in it, in detail with names 

(disclaimer: I already know quite a bit so can tell if your lying, but it will be good to hear how you felt this wouldn’t of got you permantly banned again!)

Okay, firstly I'd like to say thank you, for giving me a chance to explain my actions as opposed to just putting me on the no appeals list straight away, I really do appreciate that. 

So, after the 7 or so people got banned for something along the lines of disrupting the community, Maverick and Nimmern joined the channels and obviously we informed them what was going on. They then both went into the command channel which I can't enter because I don't have channel admin in there. I can't be exactly sure who was in my channel when Maverick came back but I'm assuming it's all of the people who got 1.6ed along with 1 or 2 of the people who came and told you. He said something like "fuck it" and talked about how he didn't care and he was gonna try and mass RDM. Therefore I believe my ban was justified in that I did know what they were planning on doing and I didn't do anything about it. The way I looked at it was if they want to "go out with a bang" who was I to stop them? I now obviously realise this was stupid and at the time I didn't even consider the consequences for me. I knew there was no way I was changing their minds and so in discord I was telling them that if they were actually going to do it, at least record it so I could see what happened. I realise this was also a stupid decision due to the fact it makes my case for an unban look even worse. I joined the ban room in discord after they'd been banned to ask about what happened and as I said I'm assuming this is what convinced you to 1.6 me, of course I can't be certain though. I then made a fake account on the forums not to troll, but so that I could keep up with what was going on and I worried that if I made a Ziffy_UNBAN account it would be banned instantly. After the fake account got banned I thought my only hope was to try and be genuine by making a Ziffy_UNBAN account. If I have missed anything it isn't a case of me purposely trying to lie to hide something it's just that I either don't remember something or it has since been deleted.

There is one thing I'd also like to add about my decision making. I too was frustrated with the decision to ban people such as Charles Vane, Hammah and Hontah. Not to the point where I was going to go on a rampage on TS or on the forums because I do genuinely want to be here but I can see why in the heat of the moment I wasn't willing to attempt to stop Maverick and Nimmern from doing what they wanted to do. Again I mention the knee-jerk reaction which is something that if I am unbanned I will work on preventing and I will also work on not getting worked up over things such as this. Please however do not take this as me using an excuse for my actions, nothing can excuse what I did and I genuinely do regret it and am deeply sorry.

I really can understand why it looks this way however I honestly had joined the room after they were banned to ask what had happened. By my comment though, "non-toxic community" I was referring to not being insulted for everything I do and having staff who don't abuse their powers. That is just one of the many reasons I want to stay here. I have friends here and I know a lot of people here, not all of which would miss me if I went of course but, I have tried other communities in the past, but there's something about all of them that is the same and I can't quite put my finger on it but it honestly makes me rather just uninstall Arma or come back here and obviously now I've put myself in a position where I can't come back here hence why I have made this appeal. I just hope you can believe me when I say I really do want to come back and I really don't want to be banned.

Nothing stopped you before reporting people? I wonder why on this occasion it was different, You knew full well what would happen if you got caught up in all this again. 

The people you mention were banned for a reason, That is no concern of yours you should just be looking out for yourself considering the golden chance you was given to rejoin., The fact these babies wanted to do a RDM Spree on there way out is sad... why anyone would want to watch that is beyond me, are you that bored or dont you give a shit about other people in this community ?

There is also a note on your file of breaking NLR at the HM in a hellcat but that is not even worth going into at this stage, You like toxic environments that's why you wanted to be there and I would not have been surprised if you joined in

What a waste of my time a month ago! Please don't waste it again
