I'm not sure what you mean by 'name badges' whether you mean a physical badge on the uniform or an identifiable feature of their name.

All police officers will have a prefix before their IGN. E.g. SGT HDGamer. The ranking system is as follows:

CSI- chief superintendent

SI- superintendent

CI- chief inspector

DI- detective inspector

SGT- sergeant

SPC- senior police constable

PC- police constable

CSO- community support officer

Btw it goes from highest rank to lowest.

 
No I understand that I just mean do the officers wear badges that states their name, so I can call them without having to shout 'officer' all the time. Sorry for being a bit un clear.

 
So you mean that do you have to RP and find out their name or just say the one above their head.

Personally (I don't know if there is actually a rule on this) I don't mind civis calling me by my name when just patrolling around the cities e.g. Hey HDGamer, How you doing? However in a RP environment such as a crime going on I would avoid ID'ing officers in this way as it is might fall a little close to metagaming.

i call them officer until interaction then i will ask their name at some point its not hard.
