Question on Robbing/RDM Rule

Here is a scenario I had in my last server I played on and it was ok per their rules. I want to make sure it still is. Reading the ALUK rules makes me nervous.

I had robbed a gas station, cops came and I ran out the back and took off in a car into the near by city. I ditched the car and hid in a building.

During that time, the police showed up and started going through the buildings. During that time I contacted the police via text message stating that I was very unstable (My RP character is a schizophrenic, recoveringish crack addict. Money was going to be used for crack) and they needed to leave. The cops came back stating they only wanted to help and they couldn't leave. The cops finally entered my building and did a good job of coming up the stairs. I only got a few shots off (injured 1 cop) before they hit me with rubber bullets.

What I am nervous about with this server is if I am able to open fire on the police after entering the building or would that go against the Robbing/RDM rules?

As long as you have initiated quality role play with the police/civ/rebel/nhs or who ever it may be, if you decide to actually shoot someone under an actual reason instead of just randomly firing upon someone then you should be absolutely fine.

Just basically play with manners and don't do anything which you would find unsportsmanlike like so per say.

They should know why they are being killed, have had time to comply and you have gave them a condition. "I don't want to do this, just move away or I might shoot!"

Honestly if you engaged in the role play like you said you did you should be fine just always be careful when messaging Police obviously you can do it to some extent however just make sure you don't sail to close to rule 3J).

3J) Using 999 to warn police

You are unable to use 999 to warn the police for example "“Any cops seen within ‘x’km will be shot on site”
Obviously in this case it's slightly different as they are already on the scene but just be careful.
