What best describes this incident: I would say it is a bit of griefing and failRP Robbed twice by the same person in less then half an hour
Please (in detail) describe the incident: Right, so.. What happened was that I went into the hardwick pharmacy, (may be able to look at CCTV to see the interaction) I was just chatting about getting some bandages since I was shot by random locals. When I said that he then pulled out a machete and told me to drop everything on the floor. I did what he said, but he incapacitated me anyways. Talking some rubbish about knowing too much and the likes. So, He took me to the hospital in sandy shores to get myself checked in and all of that. He then drove me back to Hardwick Pharmacy store since I made a remark that I need to pick up som bandages.

(I stated that it can be any type of pharmacy. He just so happened to pick the hardwick where it all happened)

That was all well and good, we said goodbye. Said to take care and all of that. So. Once I was done looking thru my stuff by the car. I decided to drive over to the hunting cabin to sell the things I have hunted for. For some reason he was over there and the hunting cabin as well. I was sorting thru my things, made a casual 'hello'. When I was in the trunk of the car he started messing with it as well. Once he had done that he pulled out a machete to rob me again. I got pissed off and pulled out the hunting rifle to shoot him. He then started slashing and cutting me.

He downed me again and he put me into the trunk of my car and drove off to somewhere random. Once he drove me somewhere he still kept me in the trunk of my own car and after that he fucked off to do whatever the hell he did.

I got pretty heated and started lashing out at everyone and I did end up breaking the rule about always being in character. That is going to cost me dearly, I am aware. Though you have to understand that I was fucking pissed off. (Several neurological diseases causes me to act out and all that)

I have no clue if anything can be done about it but honestly.. It absolutely destroyed some of the fun I had. And also it just.. Well, it got me a bit down (Again, neurological disease) Sooo.. Now I am here just sad and miserable.

Let's get into this then, the other player doesn't have a forum account active, therefore no point in waiting on a reply from them.

There is a few things I want to address before getting to a conclusion;
Without video footage of the original interaction I can't make any judgement on that, so the entire reply with centre around the footage available.

Firstly, there is no rule stating you can't rob the same person twice in a row, as long as it's done with quality RP then no issue with that. Not sure where you have gotten the idea we have rules against this, but that's not within the RPUK ruleset.

Secondly, and this is more a general note for all newer players, or players that lack an understanding of the rules. During your interaction with this player there is several questions and answers back and forth regarding your memory of the situation where you confirmed you have no memory as you'd been to a hospital. This is where your understanding of the rule is wrong - if you are taken to a hospital or revived by a medic, you retain the memories that led to your injuries. The only time you should lose the memory of what led to your injuries/death is when you have actually respawned.

Lastly, if you have an issue with a player in game - please make use of either the /OOC of /LOOC commands with your message, do not use the /me, /do, /medical etc... commands to communicate these sort of messages. These commands are used for the benefit of roleplay only, not to communicate OOC messages of any type.

Now onto the actual conclusion of the report. Based only on the footage available I've come to the conclusion that there is some quite obvious rule breaks from both sides. I will list the rules you have both broken to an extent below.

I think this is fairly obviously, however it's quite apparent you have failed to remain in character throughout this interaction. What I will say is you did open a ticket with staff and hold your hands up to this, where it was already discussed. This player doesn't actually have a forum account, however a note will be left for them and I'll keep an eye out in game for them to try inform them of this outcome. It's a large number of rules you have broken during this interaction.
It is important people take on board what we are saying here about retaining memories and not rule playing for your own benefit, you cannot force a player to forget memories in this way, you only lose those memories when you respawn. If you have killing someone (or executing them), it is important it is done so with quality RP.
Action Taken - 1 day ban (in line with FBS)
