We were coming up into Agios in a patrol vehicle and Eagle was firing his pistol at another civillian. We decamped and issued compliance to the vehicle, spreading out around it.
I issued compliance (as can be heard) and stood there in the middle of the road, waiting for him to comply. During this he reversed then stopped. In the video what happens next is that he starts moving forward, turns his wheels in towards me, runs me over, then moves back into the left lane in order to avoid a collision with the RTU hatchback that was approaching.
After this, police officers tried to disable the vehicle, and then issued compliance again. At this point Eagle and his friends opened fire on the officers with no RP.
He didn't stop to apologise, he kept driving, at which point officers opened fire, followed by a gunfight. When confronted on teamspeak he admitted the VDM and apologised, however I believe it was intentional for the following reasons:
- He did not stop to apologise, despite the fact he knew full well I was ran over (he discussed this on teamspeak with his friends)
- He never approached me during the ~3 hours since the incident to apologise or at least discuss the issue.
- The way he drove to the right into my path despite my standing still, then back into the right lane seems to malicious for me.
He said his friend elliot had a recording of the incident, and the video showed them talking about Eagle, however when I asked him to show me, it turns out there is no such recording as his friend closed the game through command prompt for some reason, which caused the video not to save.
We had a lengthy discussion on teamspeak about this, where he did apologise, however my belief is that due to the fact he did not approach me on TS, nor stop the vehicle to acknowledge the VDM taking place, despite knowing it happened at the time, made me feel this is reportable.
His words during the conversation were "I'm not losing an MXM over VDMming a cop" on teamspeak. "If I had got out the car they would have rubbered me and restrained me". To me, in addition to my other reasoning, shows he is not apologetic, and that there was a malicious element, he would rather break a server rule than deal with the consequences.
Unfortunately he is currently restricted from using the forum as he received a warning point for something else recently, and is unable to defend himself.
