What best describes this incident: Possible powergaming claiming that dashcam footage has been sent to "SSD's in the Vehicle Boot" and I have tried to take it to court in city but have been told to bring it to here.
Please (in detail) describe the incident: Good Evening, I have raised this report today after being told to multiple times by many people. I have also been told by others that this may not count or does indeed count as Powergaming. With the way I ripped the dashcam out of the vehicle BEFORE he went back to MRPD to get his equipment back. The footage should not of been uploaded to the database and put against me. I have already done my time in prison (720 months) but have been given a £35,000 ticket which I have not paid yet due to this situation.

I would class this as powergaming due to the fact of if footage was stored in the Vehicle Safe to SSD's would be impossible to get. Yes you can dump the vehicle but im not the type of person to dump vehicles or destroy them. The second clip shows Cummings arresting me later on in the day with the reasons said above and firearms charges. But with all due respect I feel there should be no footage. I personally don't think dashcam footage has ever been saved to other placed than a SD Card in the camera itself.

I really wanted this to be a city issue but sadly me and someone else has been told that its a out of city issue and sadly cannot go through the courts. I really enjoyed the roleplay before this happened but sadly its had to come to this.

I completely agree with it. I wish this could have been sorted in-game rather than on the forums would have made for some good RP going through the courts and after the court too.

The reason I did this is due to me being told within RP that the SSDs are kept in an external place to the dashcam, being told they are kept in the boot of the car.

Once Harley and I spoke in Discord, we both agreed that it is a shame that it had to be brought out of the city, and we wish it could have been kept in the city. I understand both sides, seeing how he could see it as powergaming. However, my intent wasn't to powergame; if I did, I was purely acting upon the information I was given and told.

This all seems like a situation that's been blown out of proportion, but here we are, let's get into it.

If a criminal goes to the effort of taking body cameras and dash cameras etc... then the Police should really be willing to play into that RP. If someone is putting in the effort then fair play to them, the footage is gone unless the Police recover it in a fair manner. For example, if they arrest the person moments later then they'd realistically still have the memory card/camera on them. However, the footage is not stored in the vehicle safe, it's directly linked to the camera and if that is removed and not recovered in a sensible way then it's considered gone.

If someone steals the car, but it is recovered and the player hasn't made the effort to remove the card/camera, then the Police would be able to recover the footage - However, if the Police involved are going down this route, it is their responsibility to ensure the footage hasn't been removed. Realistically you'd need to have had eyes on the car for the entire situation to ensure this, otherwise you will need to consider the footage gone for this to be handled in a fair way.

@R.Cummings/ Isack Clark we have spoken to a few different people about this and it does seem like there has been a lot of mixed communications from the Police seniors on this, just seems people have become confused along the way, as this has never been an issue until now. I'm going to put this down as a warning to yourself and leave a note about it, no punishment will be added against yourself, however please don't go down this route with dash cams again. I will also ask PolCom to address this with the entire Police to make sure it is clear.
