Sending messages without mouse control enabled

Hi,

So since the update that happened yesterday that changed the ATM, added melee weapons and all the rest, I haven't been able to send messages unless the mouse control was enabled on my phone. I don't know if this was intended but before you used to have to press enter, then you could type your message. Now, as you can see by the screenshot you can't even begin to type a message when mouse control is disabled.
