After allowing squad.xml's for sometime we have today decided to drop them from all our servers.
In the past squad.xmls have been the result of server crashes , desync and other issues dating back to Arma 2, Again in patch 1.54 Bohemia are exploring issues surrounding squad.xmls in patch 1.54
We are not pointing the finger that this is the issue around the crashes recently as they have also identified an issue with a killing of a animation however its time for us to block all external factors (Players uploading there own content manually to the server via squad.xml (including sound files, custom faces)
If you have a squad.xml that you use for Altis Life UK please consider removing it asap as the server will no longer allow it.
Going forward to replace this for gangs with approved gang bases we will be allowing custom uniforms to be submitted for review that people only in that gang will be able to purchase, these do however need to be high quality so get designing!
