This post has had no activity, from either players or the staff team, since 2023. Since then, rule suggestions and discussions have moved to Discord. I’m reviewing and processing the older suggestions here so they don’t remain open indefinitely.
I first want to apologise if this was your experience; it sounds quite demotivating and unenjoyable to be on the receiving end, at least constantly. We cannot outright 'ban' players from robbing, kidnapping, or any other 'hostile' actions. The scope would have to be heavily specific, and even then, we'd be creating a de facto 'green zone' for those legal players, wherein they can hide behind the rules. We prefer not to limit the development or creation of fluid RP through rules intervening, unless absolutely necessary to ban or limit a specific action.
What you spoke about, however, may be covered by current rules. If players consistently target new or 'lower-level' players (in respect to the aggressor), they will fall foul of G5.6. We do not tolerate the griefing, ganking or otherwise unsporting behaviour toward newcomers. If players consistently take advantage of game mechanics that limit their ability to defend themselves or use them in unintended ways, they will likely be breaking a rule in doing so.
I am sorry to hear about that experience. If this issue is a common problem for our newcomers (even today), I urge you to report it where applicable or notify staff via a ticket. Although I hope this isn't the case anymore.
