Metagaming? Was never really properly spoken to regarding this until I asked.

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for allegedly meta-gaming and that there was a video going around with evidence of me doing so, something which was never shown to myself or to my knowledge anyone involved other than a handful of staff members which in itself was extremely shady I did request to see this multiple times to various members who had it (Police faction of course) and Staff yet no one would let me see it and it was all kept hidden and I am unsure why this was.
On the night of this happening a large amount of the gang I was in (Ascension) agreed to go onto the server I believe to do a drug run and then we decided not to do so as there was a lot of us and it would have been hard to compete due to the amount of attention we would receive and we were in two minds of doing our first HM with guns after taking a 2 week break after discussions with Staff Leads to try and reduce gun fights and implement more role play.
From what I recall it was close to restart and a few people joined the wrong server or a different server, we usually played on Server 2 as it was the more stable server, some came on late after the restart or were waiting for slots etc and due to us doing a HM they joined Server 1 to avoid the stigma we had for playing on the server which was more stable and being classed as a 'Server 2 gang' as that is I suppose an insulting term some people used for a mysterious reason and to avoid this branding we were doing HMs on Server 1 as it was deemed harder? Regardless some of us joined and went to different servers, I believe from what I remember being on Server 2 as I was not aware we were doing a HM (operation as we would call it) I was in the lobby screen shortly after connecting and was muted on TS due to receiving a work call and this happened a couple of times, I don't remember there being enough Police on server 2 to carry out a HM either and we had been followed into the server by the Anti-Ascension task force. I was told by someone via Steam that we could not do a HM as there were not enough Police on this was as I was hard muted and no one knew where I went as it was an important call I had to quickly grab this was not direct information to sway anything in our or my favour just relevant information prior to starting an event (from what I have always been aware of this is not meta-gaming as there is a server script which prevents the HM from being carried out with a low amount of cops and checking this is needed to know if you can commit to the HM or not and I was muted on TS and as one of the leaders of the gang at the time so was being updated whilst taking a call) I at some stage around here muted and missed some of the dialogue as to what was happening and when I came back was told there was enough cops/more cops on Server 1 which was the server we wanted to do this HM on anyway so we switched server this was where I presume the issue was as we was I guess accused of meta gaming due to this and I was unable to get much information regarding this as Robbie who was the staff dealing with this came into our team speak room late at night with a very bad and unpleasant tone and had an argument with one of the other gang leaders who openly spoke for himself on the matter to which Robbie then left the team speak channel and refused to speak to the rest of us which was very unprofessional, so this was deemed as meta gaming I cannot comment on the evidence as this was never shown.
Anything else which can be added I would like to know about as no report was made, no evidence was given, nothing was even said to be I only found out about this being a ban when I tired to join the server and Aiden someone who had not said a word to be about this had banned me which I find to be very professional from a Staff member who due to the type of ban I feel could have had the courtesy to message me on Team Speak or the Forums and let me know the reasoning without me having to ask.
Why should we unban you ?
I have been an active member of RPUK and for the most part a positive player in game and relatively friendly towards people on team-speak as well as the forums and rarely I find myself in situations at the time of being active I was not in a liaison with anyone or accused of any rule breaks, I have only ever been banned once and that was for RDM when I first joined the community a long time ago and the whole thing was a misunderstanding, since then I was a part of a couple of active gangs one being TMC where we helped new players learn the ropes and gave them some starting money/tools required to make money. This became inactive so I then joined Ascension where I feel my quality of role play and general game play style changed for the better and I shortly after joining became one of the leaders and helped to make sure everyone was acting maturely whilst trying to keep the gang active alongside the other leaders to hopefully create a nice dynamic on the server and challenge the other factions with all sorts of role play situations from hostage situations or non-combat role play HM's which is something I myself took part in most days over the course of 1-2 weeks when Police were complaining we were rushing HM's and having a lot of gun fights with them so I feel I contributed towards this community by creating documents etc to increase role play between Rebel and Police factions regardless of how many barriers were put in front of me, so I feel my role within this community was somewhat positive and this is one point I would like to be considered.
Onto the ban itself, I feel the entire situation was not dealt with properly or professionally from the start, granted there were discussions I believe with Staff and Management behind closed doors although I cannot comment on this as I was not allowed to be involved in these. The initial report was made and from what I am aware of Robbie was dealing with it and came to us to discuss this but had a very bad attitude and started the conversation on a low which could only end in one way, something which angered all of us involved a lot as we always dealt with issues/reports fairly and kept it verbal and civil on team speak and avoided reporting players (Yes I did report a large amount of players one time, but this was due to endless conversations going nowhere and being palmed off) this could have been resolved between parties involved and would have at the time been cleared up with the recordings I had showing I was not even fully loaded into the server and that I had only connected then due to receiving an important phone call muted and missed some of the dialogue which I cannot comment on what was said as I did not hear it other than being told there were more cops on Server 1 and prior to this seeing Police switching from Server 1 to Server 2 as we were joining to counter us doing something which in itself is meta gaming and yet this was not punished in the same way? The entire situation I feel was biased and two of those backing this were Police one of which for days before this situation was ignoring any reports against Police which we was hoping to deal with without people getting banned with the aid of higher ups in the Police force yet they dedicated time towards removing us at the first possible opportunity and not wanting to deal with anyone that was within their faction and was defending a small group of individuals.
Another issue with this entire situation as the person who made the report, joined our gang with the intentions to get us banned sadly our downfall was giving people opportunities and not being a friendship group and letting anyone join us within reason (no recent reports etc.), granted he has since been banned for other reasons yet he was asked to and encouraged to do so by higher up Police command in retaliation to what I can only assume was in relation to my player report against Police as names involved in this entrapment were on the list reported and this entire situation was essentially an elaborated revenge report this was said to be a role play situation although not a single person in Ascension received any role play during this or after it was all exposed which proves the fact this was entirely done to attempt to get people banned and was a revenge report something that got over looked and was not handled professionally either, even with evidence of this. Those involved in this were also being given in game information about us outside of the game which just adds to this whole situation and was part of the reason why people were even moving servers in the first place to avoid the conflict.
I do feel this was unjust as the entire procedure was flawed this was known about by staff who did not make any of us aware of the severity of this issue, again Robbie was dealing with this and did not address it as it was a report he just told us there were complaints against us but we did not save evidence when we could have myself included which would have instantly proven my acts were not meta gaming and were justified and said they were just complaints I tried to discuss this multiple times but Robbie wouldn't speak to me due to how one member of my gang reacted even stating it was a personal view of the situation and was not an official gang response to what the complaint was. I am unsure as to why a player report was not put up giving members and myself a chance to have their say and link evidence (like the time when I made a report for something similar. Also to say this again mine was not posted within 48 hours as Staff told me not to) the procedures seemed to differ for this and whilst discussions between Staff were being made a report could have been a neutral ground for everyone to have their say and give their input before a final decision was made which is how I have always known banning procedures to be handled unless it was something like hacking/rdm witnessed in game by Staff.
I also joined the NHS granted I didn't get a chance to do that much with them to break away from the Rebel/Combat side of things and create some more role play scenarios so I was not to be perceived as a combat role player as most Rebels these days are for some reason.
It has been a while since my ban although it is something I strongly disagree with, the break was mostly due to work being pretty busy as well as being quite annoyed at how this entire situation was handled, I therefore waited some time and took a break so that I did not engage in this discussion with a negative mindset and therefore make this situation one which would make me appear to be a bad member and someone who would not be welcome in the community.
