hello, i know this looks really bad and it might give a bad impression of someone completely new.
but believe me, there is nothing more offensive to me than calling me racist or homophobic!
I do have black and gay friends (even in my family) and i always fought and argued against racists and homophobic, even when i was younger, because i didn't think like other people did about this subject.
I believe in respect of differences and culture and freedom to become what our genome, education and culture allowed us to be! Im not a christian nor atheist, i trust in science and i look at a black person like someone with a different genome segment for skin color(dark color) resultant from a very important mutation that allowed past species to survive the sun's UV rays exposure.
now, that im done explaining my TRUE personality when it comes to this subject, allow me to explain what happened at the time i was banned!
(before i start, please excuse any bad english, im a portuguese 18 years old boy, and i've learned english for the past 4 years, so it might not be perfect

(i was at the green zone after logging FOR THE FIRST TIME after buying arma 3 a couple days ago)
And i started talking and having fun with other players! I asked tips, information about the server and we did some RP and gags to have a good time.
SUDDENLY, i find a dead body lying on the floor with a gun under his legs, i picked it up and ctrl-h to holster it inside the green zone(like said in the rules).
I kept talking to nice people and having a good time(this mod is pretty good to just walk around, make friends and socialize instead of the killing spree we all are used to with arma PVP-only mods)
then, one of my friends at the green zone tells me that while im going to the DMV he could hold the weapon for me(kidding of course, trying to steal it x).
I said okok sure! (sarcastic)
he said: OKAY!!! DROP IT HERE MY FRIEND! (mocking me lol)
(i told him to follow me and come meet me inside a building outside the green zone.)
i said: come here my friend, ill drop the weapon inside this house(and i closed the door)
he said: NONO! x) i won't go in there! xD
me: COME HERE BOY! I HAVE CANDY 4 U! x)
(when he gets in, i point the weapon at him and i tell him to put hands up, that i was going to rob and take him away with me(possible hostage situation, just for the RP and for the fun of it))
He then proceeded to run and scream back to the green zone(kinda of a safe house)
(so, while thinking wheather or not to shoot him in the leg to stop him, i said
me: COME HERE BOY! DON'T RUN AWAY FROM ME YOU NIGAAAAAA!!
him: HELP ME!!! HAAA!!! (roleplaying.....)<br />
now, at this moment, i have to congratulate your admin BRAT for the most EFFICIENT admin response i've ever seen!
i got banned 2 seconds after saying the n-word! wow!
I was confused at first but when i tried to log back in iT said the racism reason and i figured it out....
now here is my ban appeali know i should not discuss or PM admins about ban apeals but at first i only wanted to know if he could maybe tell me the reason for my ban... things escalated and we started debating about this issue like 2 grown men)

CONCLUSION:
N-word is a controversial and taboo word, not EVERYONE feels offended by it! although i've noticed several times in different situations that it is very common for British people to find it offensive while americans, and non-english speaking people not to!
we all know some people use it as greeting word, thats a fact!
and we all know its popularity and usage has grown in the past years due to pop culture, rap culture and even games!(for ex: gta5)(for all we know, im just roleplaying as a black fellow who is robbing another player, its theater)
I do think this word is offensive in some CONTEXTS even thou it does not mean anything since slavery (in our culture) no longer exists! I know RACISM exists and that this word can be seen by some people and in certain CONTEXTS as OFFENSIVE!
So, with that said, i just want to say something.
I DO UNDESTAND that GOOD roleplay is a roleplay where everyone have fun and don't feel offended by, so go ahead and ask the other player if he, in that context, not even being a black person, felt offended by me
I APPOLAGIZE THE PLAYER AND ADMIN WHO HEARD ME SAYING THE N-WORD, wether or not they feel ofended by it and i ask for forgivnace because i didn't know someone would react like this to my "roleplaying"(even thou they were simply spectating and did not fully understand what was going on)
I won't do it again, beleive me, i learned my lesson and even thou i can't find this word offensive in many friendly or diferent contexts, i DO RESPECT the opinion of the server and the admins, AND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, I WON'T SAY IT AGAIN! DONE!

CONCLUSION:
N-word is a controversial and taboo word, not EVERYONE feels offended by it! although i've noticed several times in different situations that it is very common for British people to find it offensive while americans, and non-english speaking people not to!
we all know some people use it as greeting word, thats a fact!
and we all know its popularity and usage has grown in the past years due to pop culture, rap culture and even games!(for ex: gta5)(for all we know, im just roleplaying as a black fellow who is robbing another player, its theater)
I do think this word is offensive in some CONTEXTS even thou it does not mean anything since slavery (in our culture) no longer exists! I know RACISM exists and that this word can be seen by some people and in certain CONTEXTS as OFFENSIVE!
So, with that said, i just want to say something.
I DO UNDESTAND that GOOD roleplay is a roleplay where everyone have fun and don't feel offended by, so go ahead and ask the other player if he, in that context, not even being a black person, felt offended by me
I APPOLAGIZE THE PLAYER AND ADMIN WHO HEARD ME SAYING THE N-WORD, wether or not they feel ofended by it and i ask for forgivnace because i didn't know someone would react like this to my "roleplaying"(even thou they were simply spectating and did not fully understand what was going on)
I won't do it again, beleive me, i learned my lesson and even thou i can't find this word offensive in many friendly or diferent contexts, i DO RESPECT the opinion of the server and the admins, AND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT, I WON'T SAY IT AGAIN! DONE!
