In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned because I was using information which I shgould not of used, as it was gained in teamspeak...I now know that this was a rule breach, and I am very sorry for this.
(4.7) Using out of game communications to encourage other players to log on and sway the result of an event or roleplay situation is forbidden. Similarly, joining the server using metagamed information is forbidden. (Punishment is a ban)

Why should we unban you ?
I have been a member of rpuk since June 28 2016 and i never got banned, this is my first time and its just a stupid move from me, and I was banned as a member of our gang joined as an 'undercover police officer'...At the time I joined the server upon request of other gang members to start a roleplay scenario I did not know what I was doing was bannable, as a staff member had previously informed us in teamspeak that he was going to get people in game to fight our gang. I feel as though the reporter joined our gang amid tensions between ascension and the police, with the soul intention of revenge reporting when he found a bannable offence, as he left the gang shortly after he reported us to staff - bearing in mind we was not informed of a report, as he did not use the forums, showing he purely wanted to get us banned. Due to the way I wand other members of my gang where reported, our video evidence against other. staff members deleted after 24 hours, and we did not have enough time to save it, to prove we didn't know that what we was doing was wrong. Overall, I terribly apologize for the trouble I have caused, as I honestly did not know what I did was wrong, and had not updated myself on new rules. I have now re-read the forum rules page, to update myself on RPUK rules, and. Again, I am sorry for any inconvenience I have caused, and hope to return to roleplay soon.

Right. 

In your appeal you state that you wasn't informed regarding the situation. When this reported to myself and Aiden, I actually came to speak to your gang regarding these claims to sort it out. However when in there I was confronted with some anger by Cobra who then told me to go make a report. I as a staff member joined that room to sort it out and try to resolve it properly of my own back which I did not have to do. Yet I get spoken to like crap and therefore I state I am not going to waste my time anymore in here and left do make the report which we did. So your "gang" as a whole had the chance to resolve it, but it didn't go down that route for the above reason. 

Also I see that you are also quoting something which I have already been approached by your gang.

Firstly this was said by myself but not in the way you put it, as an INS of the police I have a role where I can try and balance the police on the servers. By me asking cops to log onto s2 was not a breach of rule 4.7 this is because they was not responding to an event or ongoing roleplay situation as nothing was happening at the time I asked them.

Can you first tell me the difference between what you did and what I did.

I completely understand why you didnt want to resolve. I wish it didnt end up like that and if we could talk about this to make sure what i did, I wasnt there at converstation with you guys so i cant say really much tbh.

What you did was basically doing your job as you said above, you were doing your job and tried to balance the server with the cops on the server , You have roles which you are using and now i can understand where you comming from.

What i did was basically using information which i never should get, If im correct i hopped from server 2 to server 1 to join a event that was going on ( im not sure if hopped from server 2 to 1 ) but i think it would be the same issue if i wasnt in any server at that moment,

for a example there is a situation going on with the cops, 3 gangmembers dealing with it and then we know its gonna end up in a gunfight and you are calling backup from teamspeak, 10 people are in a different channel talking about something or watching a video, and then you hop in that channel and say guys we need help on server 1, everyone join and come to kavala quick 

thats just a quick example

Basically getting information which you should not use because it would be metagame, I completly understand this rule now and i'm pretty sure it wont happen again

Could you explain the real reasoning behind changing your name between logging off server 2 and logging into server 1?

We were told to change our name and log into server one so the police could not see us and be prepared for us to do the hm. We did this so many times, so they just know it already when we join the servers
