Why do you think you were banned: I was initially banned for G4.5 for returning to a gun fight located in the legion square region. I was then further placed on ban after being part of the Alliance blanket ban. I will attempt to break down each individual ban down below.
Why should we unban you: Hello to which every staff member reads my appeal, in my last appeal on July 22nd C_Date said he felt more time was needed to even consider my appeal and that there was no specific cooldown on when I could appeal again. So with that said it’s been just shy of 4 months since then and I personally feel I’ve had enough time to learn and rectify my mistakes. In this appeal I will be speaking for myself as I cannot speak for the whole group “Alliance”
Since being banned on April 1st 2024 I’ve learnt a lot about RP and how it should be used/played. It’s been 553 days since my initial ban and in that time I can see where I personally went wrong and how I’ve learnt from it.
G4.5 - New Life Rule
To be honest this ban was stupid, it really didn’t need to happen. I got caught up in the heat of the moment and let it get the better of me. I was involved in a gunfight with Azteca's at legion, I was ran over by a local and taken to pillbox. After leaving pillbox I returned back to Legion and before I had shot again I was teleported onto a roof by 2 staff members.
When I was pulled onto the roof I really should have just held my hands up and took responsibility for what I did. Instead I blamed another group and blamed them for my actions. I’m in charge of my own doings and I should have taken the time to actually talk to the 2 staff members present instead of giving short, and cold responses. In the moment I felt hard done by but when I’ve been able to take a step back and look at the situation for what it is, it was immature for me to act that way
Both staff members present told me at the time that I was pulled to the roof to have a chat but my lack of communication and poor attempt to work with the staff ultimately landed me here.
If a situation like this happens again I will not combat a rule break with another rule break of my own. Since being away I’ve been able to separate my emotions with gaming as a whole and not take things so personally anymore
UKN - Alliance Blanket Ban
I was banned due to being a member of the Alliance F6. Getting into as many gunfights as possible and a drop within my RP standards.
First of all I would like to apologise to anyone that was affected by MY roleplay standards within that time period. I do feel I’ve learnt from these mistakes and want to provide a higher quality roleplay standard for all involved to enjoy. Since being away I’ve been able to look over the 3+ years I’ve been apart of the community and can say the storylines and real roleplay scenarios are much more enjoyable for everyone over the gunfights I was involved in. This city is an escape from reality for most and should be enjoyable for everyone to use. At the time I didn’t see it this way as I was too caught up in the moment and let those emotions get the better of me. This isn’t a true and honest representation of myself as I don’t want to make peoples experience on RPUK one to forget, I want to be able to provide high quality that everyone can enjoy.
The time away has allowed me to have a new mindset for roleplay, hopefully coming back to the server with a fresh outlook. New ideas and new storylines that everyone involved can take a positive experience from.
C1.6 - Community Ban
I was banned from the forums and removed from all official RPUK discords.
After the group was blanket banned a few people spammed messages and videos inside the RPUK discord channels. I can confirm that I was not apart of this. I wasn’t even at my computer at the time. I was on a train going away for the weekend. I can only apologise for what had happened but I can assure you I wasn’t apart of it.
To my knowledge I’ve never caused issues OOC and don’t have any reason to. I’ve made good friends in this community and wouldn’t want to jeopardies that in any way. I’ve always given my honest thoughts in the community, whether that be commenting on suggestions or even making some of my own.
To sum up my appeal, I want to first apologise to Jessie and the male staff member present on the roof but also to whoever I personally affected through my avenue of roleplay. My intentions where never to ruin or affect anyone else's time on the server. I do wish you can see I've changed my outlook and I'm ready to make a positive impact on the community again.
