Ban Reason: C1.10
Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for stealing from other players' cars without interacting/roleplaying. I was treating these situations more as a "transaction", rather than a roleplay experience for everyone involved. I now realize that this wasn't just a "one-time mistake"; I had been racking up bans due to a continuous pattern of bad behavior, where I had prioritized personal gain over creating fun RP situations and maintaining RP standards on RPUK.
Why should we unban you: I want to take a different approach to this appeal than my previous appeals. In my last appeals, I have addressed the incident and promised to do better, but I never addressed the main issue, which would be my repetitive actions of misbehaving and rule-breaking. In previous appeals, staff were right when they mentioned that I haven't learned from my mistakes over time, and that makes it very understandable why you would not trust me in your community. I'm putting this appeal up for not only the ban, but also taking full responsibility for my actions that have led me to this side of the forums. I understand that this appeal came up shortly after the other one, and it might look rushed. I realised that my last appeal didn't really address the real reasons why I got banned and why I'm still banned. I know the space between the appeals is close, but I didn't want to leave anything from my past explanations.

During my time in the community of RPUK, I have built up a bad reputation for warnings, bans, and kicks that involve poor RP, trolling, and not meeting the standards of roleplay on RPUK. I noticed that I always convinced myself to "do better next time" without changing my behavior and learning from the consequences. From my first appeal, I was told that this ban was a "death by a thousand cuts"; looking back, it makes a lot of sense, considering that this is not the first time I have been caught with this behavior.

Reviewing my time spent in the RPUK community, I have realised that the issue was never my ability, but more about my attitude. I have had times where I had good and fun RP situations with other people, but the drop in standards in the RP and the "trolling" behaviour have overwritten the good RP. The inconsistency of my RP and behavior on the server/forums is what ruined my reputation and created a rack of punishments that I never learned from.

How would I do things differently?
If I were ever given the chance to return to the server again, I would not treat it as "just getting unbanned again." I have taken the time being banned and staff's opinion to be able to reflect and look back at where it all went wrong, and the reasoning of my ban in the bigger picture. I would treat an unban as a fresh start with a final warning, knowing that if I slip up ever again, I would be banned for good without the opportunity to appeal my ban. This is how I would approach the possible "fresh start":
- As said in my first appeal, I realised I had given poor RP to individuals rather than groups. I believe that every player deserves the same kind of quality RP, whether they are a new, old, or just a random player. I would never treat someone as "less worthy" of good RP, some could say.
- In RP situations like robberies and similar situations, I would focus on making the situations creative and fun for both parties, making sure everyone enjoys the RP. If I saw an opportunity for a situation that I know wouldn't be possible to provide meaningful RP, I would simply not engage in the RP.
- In the past, I have waited until I have gotten a punishment for my actions before reflecting on what I have done. I would hold myself accountable for my actions, and instead of feeling not enthusiastic, knowing I'm too tired to roleplay sometimes, I would rather log off so I don't risk affecting others' experience.
- I do understand and respect the time staff takes to go through reports and appeals every day. I would be respecting the rules and guidelines consistently to avoid being a drain for staff and rather contribute positively, actively trying to better people's day with higher-quality roleplay.

Why should I be unbanned?
It's because I don't want my time on RPUK to be remembered as my worst moments, even tho they have now overwritten my best moments. I've been in this community for a very long time, and despite my wrongs, I actually value the RPUK servers, community, and all the memories I've gotten from playing and being a part of it. I understand that if I were to be unbanned, it would be a risk, but I'm just asking for one last chance to prove that I can consistently keep up with the standards of roleplay and behaviour expected. I finally understand that it's not only about what I say, but also about my actions and my consistency within my roleplay and behaviour. As said, if I were to be unbanned, I would understand that it would be my absolute last chance to possibly prove myself, and any further "rule-breaks" would result in the end of my time on the server. I personally feel like I'm ready to take that responsibility and either be a positive member of RPUK or accept that my time here is done.

All I wish is for myself to get the opportunity to prove myself the correct way.
