Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for saying a extremely offensive word And I understand that it was wrong. I did not say this with conviction ,malice or any ill intent.
Why should we unban you: I am aware people take time to reflect on their wrong doings and I intend on doing so. I realised immediately what I did was wrong and I know it is very unlikely that I will be unbanned at this time but I want staff and everyone involved to know that this is not usual vocabulary for me. And it was a spur of the moment thing. The person I sent the text too is a very close friend OOC and knew this would not cause offence to said person but that does not excuse my actions and I am very very regretful for doing it. I understand how extremely offensive and damaging saying something like that could be and I have no intention of ever using language like that again, Again I do not stand by my action and I'm full of regret after doing so. I understand you have the rules in place to protect the community and it’s a safe space for all people, I have crossed the line and I apologize for what I have done.

I am as well as can be thank you for asking, hope all is well on your end.

Thank you for picking up my appeal.

I want to begin by saying I was well aware of the rules in place and their importance in ensuring that RPUK is a safe and respectful environment for everyone. I completely understand and respect the server's stance on this.

As for my actions, I'll be completely honest I am deeply ashamed and regretful. The language I used was not only completely out of character for me but extremely inappropriate. I truly cannot explain how it happened and that is what makes it even harder to come to terms with. It was thoughtless, hurtful and not something I stand for in any way.

I have close family members who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and I know first hand how damaging words like these can be. I realize how careless I was and the weight of my mistake is not lost on me. I am truly sorry and I regret the impact of my words.

I hold my self to a higher standard especially when it comes to things like this I take full accountability and have no rhyme nor reason for saying what I said and cannot express enough how ashamed I am.

I'm glad to hear.

No this is not only a word that is completely out of my vocabulary but also completely out of character to say.

I understand that regardless of the context, my mood or who I was speaking to, the word is extremely harmful and offensive and I have no excuse for using it. It was a spur of the moment thing as I mentioned before but that is still not justification for using it. This is definitely not a word I use and as is very out of character. I've reflected a lot on that moment and still cannot get my head round why I said it but I did and I deeply regret it. I'm taking this very seriously and want to work on my own emotional regulation to ensure I make sure I think before I speak/type as I do not want anything as harmful as that to slip out again. I want to build trust with my fellow players and staff again and I'd like a chance to prove I have grown from this. I love this community and the people in it and I know these rules are in place for the community and the people in it who I value so much. I want to contribute to the community and make sure everyone feels safe and respected.

You have a some what clean record so I am happy to unban you today but I have to stress how this sort of thing is not acceptable at all. This is a place that is a safe space for a lot of people, an escape, and the last thing anyone needs is for their escape from reality to be made an unsafe place.

Any bans you receive within the 6 months will bring you back here
