Why do you think you were banned: In my opinion, I chose to offer a low quality roleplay to others in rpuk, it was immature and completely disrespects the rules put in place to ensure in the city, the people's time and effort put in it and their efforts to uphold and follow the rules are meaningless, nobody is above the rules and they are in place for a reason, furthermore I broke G3.1, by being in a discord call with the same person I was fighting with in city, by doing that I compromised others roleplay, enabling myself to have the benefit of transferring information out of game to benefit in-game, once again disrespecting the city's rules and the people in it trying to offer community, quality roleplay and a positive experience in the city.
Why should we unban you: I understand why the ban was placed and what I have done wrong, I love the city and would never do it again, I personally feel I have learnt my lesson, and know what I am missing out on because of my actions. I believe if I were to be given a chance to come back I would uphold the rules and offer a high quality roleplay to others and not repeat my actions I have done that have resulted in this ban. After it being a month since this has happened, I have missed the server and have deeply regretted my actions as it's true that you don't know what you've lost until it's gone. I miss the community, the people who make RPUK what it is and the quality roleplay the server offers. I hope that I can be trusted in the city again and given another chance, to show that I have learned from my actions and why the rules are in place. After being away from the city for so long, I understand why I was banned and have no disagreements with it, If given a chance, I wont be wasting others time with low quality bad roleplay, nor metagame to win situations, I understand it's unfair and ruins others roleplay and is selfish and wont be tolerated in this city, thank you for taking the time to read my appeal, I understand that this appeal is going to be handled by people investing a lot of their time and effort into this city, thank you. -katie

When in the ticket why didn't you just come clean from the get go? Did you think you'd try your luck to get away with what you did that night?

Evening Mark, thank you I'm doing great, hope you are too, I have no excuses, I was being immature and I my behaviour was unacceptable, I understand what I did wrong, and I know that all actions have consequences, the rules are in place for a reason, to ensure everyone has a fair and equal enjoyable experience, my actions will not be repeated and I have learnt and understood over the month that my inexcusable behaviour will not slide here, and I want to correct everything, I miss the server and I really hope to have another chance to try again, I hope I can prove to you and the community that I can be trusted to keep the same standard of roleplay everyone wants to offer, everyone is there because they want community, quality and good roleplay, and I didn't uphold that standard, and for that I apologise, to the staff team who are giving their personal time and the community who have made the city so nice to be in.

I do apologise, I understand the question, I have no excuses for my actions, I didn't want to get banned, that's why I didn't come clean, and that was the wrong thing to do. I love the server, I was being immature and dishonest by not telling the truth and not owning up to my actions, I really hope I can be given a chance to be trusted to join the server again, my actions will not be repeated. I have had plenty of time to reflect upon my actions, and the events that happened that day, and it's not something I want to bring to the server, I can only apologise for my actions. Since then I have really worked on taking responsibility and putting the effort in to make sure I'm not letting others down.

The thing here is, I am seeing lots of apolagies but I am not reading anything that we can work with.
You have a history with us for twisting context to suit your narrative when spoken to and are a repeat offender to G6.

How can we trust you to be honest going forward when you're being spoken to without us needing to jump through 10 hoops to get to the point?

I really hope I can be given a chance to be trusted to join the server again, my actions will not be repeated.

To put this in to context you have received 11 kicks/warnings/bans combined for G6 between 07/06/2024 - 28/02/2025.
How can we be sure of your claim to not repeat your actions if you are throwing our G6 warnings into the wind countless times?

Since then I have really worked on taking responsibility and putting the effort in to make sure I'm not letting others down.

Can you expand on this a little further?



I'll be frank, I am not convinced at this point but I'll give you a chance to convince me otherwise.

Good afternoon Jesse, Thank you for reading over this appeal and taking your time to reply. I understand that I’m apologising a lot, I just feel extremely foolish and in simple terms like an idiot for that night. With my previous warnings/kicks & bans I have learnt every time from them and have not repeated my actions. As you said my last kick was back in February for G6 and since then I avoided all emergency buildings unless I needed to access them. In regards to my current ban I know that I abused rules, G3.1 and also G2.12 which is meta gaming and poor quality roleplay which is the lowest of the low I could’ve done. With my response you wanted me to expand on, I’ve been on other roleplay servers expanding my roleplay and also giving the best interactions I can, which has been super fun and I’ve extremely enjoyed myself with other people playing as police and trying a solicitor route to. I honestly believe I’m able to prove I’ve grown on my one month ban and I extremely miss my police roleplay on that server, I have grown so much on roleplay uk and had been offered the role of TO whilst I was banned and have been devastated I couldn’t go down that path. Thank you for taking the time again and if there’s anything you want me to further explain I’m more than happy to do so, take care.

(G2.12), I would say I broke this rule, because I had an arena style shootout over nothing, and it certainly wasn't a valid reason to fight with in-city friends, it represented bad character by not valuing human life, and not taking the city's realism and strict rp seriously. This rule was put in place to ensure that everyone holds the same standards of effort and quality is distributed fairly throughout your time in the city and others around you.

(G2.8) I would also say I broke this rule, making it unfair for others, not giving them a chance to have a decent roleplay, losing without even starting, it was unfair for anyone in the roleplay, wasting others time and taking away from the city's quality and experiences everyone has, it is selfish and ruins the experience and fun for everyone else, this rule was put in place to enhance roleplay in the community, to enable everyone a fair and realistic chance based on their current situation, making your next moves predictable and realistically achievable.

(G3.1) Very important rule, I would even consider this power gaming, it definitely ruins the roleplay for everyone who was exposed to the content this rule explains, including yourself, not experiencing what RPUK is all about, a chance to experience life through your four characters and what they experience in the city, I have broken this rule and it has ruined others time within the city, it is unfair and only damages the community by providing unfair and unrealistic situations that shouldn't of been possible, ruining the roleplay that was exposed to G3.1, it is put in place to assure the community has a realistic and close-to-real-situation experience, allowing people who put time and effort into their characters and the roleplay they offer to the community to not be for nothing.

I understand there’s definitely been more than one occasion I’ve been confrontational towards the admins/staff and that the trust you have for me isn’t the best but I do also believe that even due to my mistakes I’ve always strived to change my actions and learn from them. I’m also sorry I didn’t attach this to my previous post, which is why I’m replying slightly later.

This could otherwise be flagged as bumping and normally lock the appeal for 3+ days.

I've just re-read the entire appeal and I appreciate the effort you have put into this.
The biggest glaring issue I have with this appeal is the repeated avoiding of a direction answer to a very clear question.

I've asked you twice: “How can we trust you to be honest going forward when you're being spoken to, without us needing to jump through 10 hoops to get to the point?”
However you've resorted to a general reflection regarding change and effort you've put in or want to put in but you failed to provide any insight as to how you would go about rebuilding this trust.
In short you're mostly evading to answer this question directly.

Given your extensive history with us for varying warnings, kicks and bans, repeated staff inquiries required to gain basic information & accountability and finally the continued pattern of vague and deflective responses (some of which we've seen again in this appeal) I will be denying this appeal.

You've been one of the people that has demanded quite a bit of staff attention over your stay here and we want to ensure this is not going to be a theme going forward.
I suggest you think about how you are going to change that before you open a new appeal.
