Why do you think you were banned: good morning or afternoon to any staff reading this. I believe I was banned under the following rules - G3.1 and C1.6,

Lets start with the first rulebreak (G3.1) - this all started when the gang i was in at the time was fighting police and we were in a discord channel with are streams on and are mics unmuted which when I look back at it now it was a very stupid and a easy way to get yourself banned very quickly and understand how It can affect the roleplay of others because of this. After a while away from the server I have had a plenty amount of time to read over the server rules and think to myself what I can do in the future to avoid this never to happen again and if was to be unbanned how I can extend my roleplay further to a standard that exceeds expectations.

Moving onto the second rulebreak (C1.6) - this all occurred when me and my friend were having a conversation in the rpuk general chat messing about and having a laugh. Me and my friend realise that there is a theme going on that people are @ a staff member and saying happy birthday for a laugh and joke i take it, Now me and my mate thought it would be a laugh to join in and do the same. This then lead to me and my mate getting banned from the discord server. Looking back at this now it seemed like a very childish and easy way to get yourself banned from the discord and i totally respect how staff handled it due to mine and my friends behaviour and I can ensure if was to get unbanned that nothing like this would ever happen again.
Why should we unban you: throughout my long stretch of time being banned from rpuk i have been playing other servers so that I can uphold the expectation of high quality roleplay which is needed in rpuk. In other servers that I have been playing, while I still use crim character most of the time I have been testing out diffrent roles such as police which gives me more pathways of roleplay scenarios that I can create within the server.

I would like to sincerely apologise once again for what I have done and that this isn’t like me at all. Before these 2 bans that I received I believe I have a very short ban record which shows that i always try to follow the rules the best I possibly can and am always looking for ways to increase my roleplay further. During my time on rpuk I always tried to make fun and engaging roleplay that benefits both parties and makes it fun for all. I have also made many friends and built many connections along my way on the sever and would like to keep the connections and continue to roleplaying at a high standard.

If you decided to give me 1 more chance on the server even though my trust may be gone and I understand if it is. I can promise to all staff members that I will provide high quality roleplay to the community and I can ensure you that something like this will never happen again. If I were to come back I wouldn’t really be interested in rejoining a gang for a while but instead work in a mechanic shop or even a car dealership as this is something that has interested throughout all my time on fivem maybe even make more connections and meet new people along the way that can make the rp more enjoyable. I may also be willing to create another character in the police which I can then continue my policing journey forward as I have gained abit of experience from other servers and found it really interesting.

I have kept in touch with many people from the rpuk community and have had many conservations on what the server is like these days and how people are enjoying it. Before these bans that I received. I really enjoyed staying in touch with the community and creating fun and memorable moments and altogether having a great time as this community is one the best I’ve seen and it’s just a massive shame that I done these silly mistakes which has pulled me away.

It is unfortunate that such a simple mistake has resulted in several months of time away from the server. I will clarify that you've not been C1.6'd; you were only removed from the Discord server due to the situation you've already described.

You've described having already thought about the G3.1 situation, and what not to do, so:

What steps did you take to do this?
How would you prevent this from happening in the future?
Why do we not wish for players to do what you did? What happens, or could happen, as a result?

In terms of the Discord removal:

You stated that you saw the messages about players pinging Stavik for his birthday; you would've also seen the messages afterwards regarding those players being timed out for doing it.

What did you expect was going to happen?

What steps did you take to do this?

After a long time away from the server i have re-read the rules to ensure nothing like this will happen again. I have also thought about different ways i could of gone about this rather than breaking this rule which was a very silly mistake. I can also promise to you that nothing like this will ever happen again if i was too be unbanned.

How would you prevent this from happening in the future?

In the future if i was too be unbanned i would never be unmuted and also streaming my game in any type of situation never the less being in a call while playing as this can be counted as me getting a advantage on others. I would also think twice on everything i do to make sure i break no rules again and everyone can have a good and fun time playing on the server without these sort of situations happening.

Why do we not wish for players to do what you did? What happens, or could happen, as a result?

Players shouldn't do this because they can get vital and key information on a certain situation from out of character which is prohibited and also ruins the roleplay for others. In a result this can lead to a permanent ban like in my situation all because silly and thoughtless mistake.

What did you expect was going to happen?

To be honest at that moment of time i didn't really think anything of it as i was just trying to have a laugh and a bit of fun. But now looking back at it after these several months i can now realise that it was a stupid thing to do and a easy route out of the server.

Why push and test your luck?

As stated in the message above i wasn't thinking straight in the moment of time and i was just messing about with my friend. I do apologise and will make sure this will not happen again if i was given a golden opportunity to get unbanned.

Do you intend to pursue any new stories or create new characters? If so, what are they?

You've made some promises that this won't happen again, and I will hold you to your word if you are to return. If you break your word, what would be a reasonable punishment, in your opinion? What would you anticipate, or expect, the outcome to be? I'm curious to see what you think.

If i was to return my plan for john smith will be to reunite and meet with some fellow friends i have made along the way and discover what has changed and what is new and altogether see how everyone is doing. My plan would be to lay of the gang side of things for a bit and focus on rebuilding the connections i made along the way and also build up my money, assets etc. As stated in my original appeal i will be interested in working in a mechanic shop as this will allow me to create good roleplay with people and get to know some more people around the city. I would maybe be looking to create a new character down the line if i was to be unbanned such as G6 for example.

I would say a good punishment will be if was to get unbanned any other bans within 6 months will lead me here with a automatic 3 month cooldown.
