Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for running into the Padrinos house and trying to shoot them after having been shot at by members of the Padrinos during a situation in which Hustlers were in the process of pushing the house. This was classified as a breach of G.11.2.
Why should we unban you: Hello and thank you to the staff member that will be treating my appeal; I hope all is well.

Firstly I would to start of by addressing my actions which led to my ban. I would like to apologize to the members of Padrinos that were affected by this. Looking back on it I let my standards of roleplay drop that much and it was very poor on my behalf. I also am very disappointed to have to see myself back on this page when I know and a lot of other members of the community I have roleplayed with in the past are very much aware of the high roleplay standards I am very capable of providing for everyone to enjoy.

The mistake leading to my ban also makes me want to make an important addition to my appeal; I have respect for both the rules and staff of the community, and I believe I made an honest mistake. While it does not nullify or justify my actions, I still believe it needs to be mentioned to highlight my respect for the guidelines that have been given.

I believe I should be unbanned because while I have been away from the community I have realised how important it is to make sure high quality roleplay is provided at all times and how I can improve my roleplay once again, should I be unbanned . I believe that prior to the events that caused my ban, my standards of roleplay quality had dropped, which lead to the reckless actions that would lead to the ban and for that I apologize.

My time away has also led me to considering what avenues of roleplay I wish to go down should I be unbanned. My main character Molotov is undoubtedly a character that will always go down the route of criminality, and I’d be lying if I said that crim-roleplay isn’t the area of roleplay I enjoy the most. With that being said like c_date mentioned in my last appeal i have 3 other slots to fill and my answer will stay the same i am planning to come back and get a character into a legal faction with the at the top of my list currently is becoming a hunter/ ranger and I'm very excited to see what roleplay avenues I can do down on this path.

I also have no doubt that if I am allowed back that my roleplay standards will consistently stay high and to make sure that happens I wont just be playing one character constantly I will be switching between my legal and illegal characters to make sure I don't get dried out by playing one to much as that has happened in the past and I believe that is the reason my standards have dropped .

Hello hello Molotov. Long time no see. I'm glad you respected the cooldown. 6 months was quite a meaty CD but not the harshest I've seen imposed.

Lets get into this then shall we...

Baiting, fail driving, metagaming, NLR, NVL, ooc abuse, poor roleplay, RDM and teaming.

Can you tell me what all of these areas of rule breaks, have in common?
 
Hi C_date appreciate the response it has indeed been a long time. How’s it going ?

I’ll get started by stating that all the rules you have listed above are rules I believe I have been banned/warned during the 4 years i've been in the community. I can admit that this probably won’t fill the staff team with much confidence that if I were allowed back onto the server that I wouldn’t find myself back on this page. I can assure yous that I fully intend to respect all the rules new and old, not that i wasnt doing that before. I do take full responsibility for my past rule breaks and can also admit that these are simple rules that where silly of me to break, It was stupid to do so and I regret that i didnt take the time to fully understand both the situations i was in and how the rules apply now, And I will make sure that i do that for all situations i am involved in the future if i were to be unbanned.

You're bang on the money, these are all rules that you've received bans/warnings/ stern talking to's over. Now normally, half of that list would be enough for us to close the door and say you're not welcome back for a long long time. But you've had some time away already. So I'm happy to hear you out.

What would your plans be if you were to come back? give me some details about how you'd play the first month.

What do you think would be a fair set of stipulations to impose, that would give staff the confidence to allow you back through the gates?

And finally, talk me through why you're still trying to get back into the server. Whats compelling you to write this appeal?

Hi C__Date, I'm glad to hear you're doing alright and thanks again for giving me the opportunity to answer your questions. I really do appreciate the staff team taking the time to look at my appeal, especially knowing my track record.

What would my plans be if I were to come back?

If I were allowed to return, my priority for the first month would be to put myself in some story driven roleplay, rather than jumping straight into the same thing I was always getting involved in. Shootouts, fights, police roleplay. I would like to eventually bring Molotov back, but in a much more mature way. A lot has changed in the city since I’ve been gone, so I would try to focus on reconnecting with people instead of just jumping into gang activity like every other time. I dont plan to join a gang immediately. I have been planning a legal character, ideally a hunter/ranger. This would give me a decent balance between my crim char and some legal RP. I would like to create some positive rp for others on this character and potentially explore areas of rp that I have not tried before and show you that I can return to the high standards that I had previously before I started slipping with my roleplay. You have seen me from the beginning of my journey, my time in 229, leaving, joining other groups, attempting different roleplay, so I hope you still remember the potential for high quality rp that I know I have and have had previously.

What I think would be fair stipulations to give staff confidence?

I am more than willing to accept strict conditions if I'm allowed back. A few I believe are completely fair:
Extending my FBS time period to a full year instead of the usual 6 months.
Requiring a time period set by staff to be played on my legal character before I am allowed to fully return to criminal rp
Immediate ban if I break any rules during that time
Any additional stipulations the staff team feel would help build trust

I am not asking you to go easy on me, I simply would like to have the chance to prove myself under whatever rules you see fit. I have had a lot of time to be away from rp, to witness the ups and downs and get back to myself and “touch grass”. I think while it may not have been years I do feel as though I have had the time and the experiences to mature.

Why am I trying to come back?

The main reason I am appealing is because I still care a lot about the community. I have friends who continue to play and have renewed their enjoyment on the server. Seeing the fun they are having has reminded me of the good times ive had here and the stories/memories that we created. I realize I messed up and I really regret my actions. I allowed my ego, and cockiness to get ahead of me and I acted in a way that I normally would condemn. There are also people I havent spoken to in a long time who I would love to reconnect with through RP. Our rp experiences would be nothing without those who are behind the characters.

I won't make this easy on you. The general impression on the last appeal, was that you shouldn't be able to come back. However I'm willing to offer up a golden opportunity for you.

Whilst you have an extensive record, there are others with worse. I won't be offering you this lightly, so consider the options properly before agreeing/disagreeing.

  • Any bans within 6 Months will land you back on a permanent ban (As per FBS)
  • You wont be able to join an F6 for 2 months, if found to have joined one, you will be placed back on a permanent ban
  • I expect to see some progress towards a legal career on one of your characters, within the first month
  • You have a lot of issues with OOC bans previously. Any OOC outbursts will be met with a permanent ban (use it correctly)
If you agree to the above we can progress the appeal

You've known me for some time Molotov. I'd like to think you know me well enough to understand that this is your final chance. Please don't make me regret this decision to go against the general consensus.
