Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for going out of character and metagaming during a situation where tensions were already high. I reacted poorly instead of handling things the right way, and I understand that my actions went against the server rules. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the impact of what I was doing, but I take full responsibility for it now.
Why should we unban you: Hi staff team,
I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to put in an honest appeal regarding my permanent ban from the server, which happened around two years ago now.
Firstly, I take full responsibility for my actions. I was out of character and did metagame during the situation, and I understand how that breaks the core of what makes roleplay enjoyable and fair for everyone. Looking back, I can clearly see how my behaviour wasn’t acceptable and I truly regret the way I handled things.
I know one of the reasons given for the ban was that I had been warned before, but I wanted to explain that the warning was actually for the same incident that led to the ban. An admin was present at the time and saw both sides were in the wrong, and I accepted the warning and moved on. However, the other group involved didn’t seem satisfied with that outcome and later made a report, which included a few things that weren’t entirely true—for example, they claimed they were looking for my brother in Paleto Bay, but in reality they were looking for me. This had happened a few times before, and I even changed clothes to avoid being recognised. I should’ve reported them properly instead of reacting the way I did, and that’s something I’ve learnt the hard way.
It’s been two years now, and in that time I’ve grown a lot. Roleplay.co.uk was the first serious RP server I ever joined, so I didn’t fully understand the standards at the time. Since then, I’ve played on other servers, worked on my roleplay, and really come to understand what it means to be part of a community. I miss this server and the memories I made on it. Every time I jump on FiveM, Roleplay.co.uk still comes to mind. It was a big part of why I got into roleplay in the first place.
If I could be given another chance, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I understand now how important it is to respect the rules, the RP environment, and everyone else’s experience. I know I let myself down last time, but I’m hoping I can prove that I’ve changed.
