Why do you think you were banned: I think just as I was leaving the game some people came into the shop I just brought something from - I'd imagine they was doing a robbery or something but as one person said something I just pressed disconnect from the game.
Why should we unban you: I wasn't playing I had just brought something from the shop and was leaving the city, if there was about to be an RP situation played out I would have stayed but literally as they spoke I had already pressed disconnect, I didn't had my headset on as I was leaving the city I just heard a voice coming from monitor but wasn't sure what they said as game was disconnecting.

Now, as this is your first ban - I am willing to show a little leniency, provided you tell the truth.

Was you really mid log-off, or was this done in an act of panic to try and avoid the situation?

Even with your headset off, you would have still been able to see the armed individuals surrounding you.
It doesn't take that long after exiting the game, for your character to disappear - However, your character was there for considerably more time before you left.

Good thanks yourself.

Yeah I honestly, I got what I needed from the shop and thought I'd pressed enter on disconnect in the main menu. When I got back to PC I noticed a couple of them in there but I generally thought they were talking to each other, I think there was 2 or 3 of them together then I just pressed enter to confirm disconnect. I'd imagine whatever RP they were playing I'd missed the dialogue as wasn't at PC

Tell me what the rule C2.3 is in your own words, with some examples, and why we have this rule in place.
 
hi,

rule c2.3 combat logging is basically logging out in any sort of RP scene.

for instance if you was being chased by police and you was caught then logging out to prevent being arrested etc.
same with a robbery, if you're about to get robbed but you leave so you don't die, lose possessions etc.
another example could be if you was in a fight scenario and you left because you felt like you would lose the fight,

Indeed - Those are some good examples of what covers the rule C2.3.
But why do we have this in place?

What should you do, if you need to leave one of these examples due to a real life emergency, or otherwise ? What steps should you take?
 
hi,

I'd imagine its in place to make a good & fair rp experience for players.

Either log back in and carry on the rp, if you generally can't go back in for whatever contact support and explain the situation
