would his affect RPUK in a significant way of it was to be implimented. Unless BIH screw it over there shouldn’t be a huge issue regarding that side correct(apart from images and link sending being disabled I assume?)

Already spoken to my mep about this earlier in the year.She has opposed the bill in it's current form due to the ambiguous language within it and is still fighting to have the language made clearer.

The only thing changing is the person responsible for enforcing the law.
Currently this is the offended party who must seek compensation when property is stolen.
The change is to require media hosts to ensure they are not hosting stolen material.

Nobody cares about memes, they don't make money.

It is already illegal to steal another persons intellectual property, all the change does is formalise compensation and enforce responsibility on media hosts.
