Was a bit curious about this one until I saw that response from Jaffa. Just wondering has anyone tested if the new system is slower or just as quick as when you had your gun pulled straight away but having to wait like a 2 second time period. 

 
Just did some testing, getting out of an MRAP untill being able to shoot is about 4 seconds, in any other vehicle is about 4.5 seconds. The only difference is that in an MRAP the character pulls the gun out automatically, with other cars you need to do it yourself.
