Long before any british occupants set their foot on Altis, before the people on Altis were spoiled by things from civilization there was an ancient cannibal cult ruling these islands, their last info is dated about one thousand years back.
Back in the day, the island of Altis was divided into three parts that had their own lead which together formed ultimately self-sufficient civilization.
There were two kings and one queen, every one of them had their own special role.
Queens name was Eirene, she had the smallest part of the island (yellow area) but maybe the most importnant role.
Eirene's role was to oversee two other kings, maintain peace and making sure that there wont be no wars between people.
Eirene's envoys/messengers were called Eirini-foní (voice of the peace) and were spreaded throughout the land, mostly aiding people and curing them as Eirene was very well educated in the means of herbs and their use.
Her envoy's were wearing mostly grey clothes, as it was believed to be a color of neutrality back then.
One of the kings' was Andronikos, he has the biggest part of the island (red area) and has importnant role as well.
Andronikos' role was to maintain that no intruders will ever set foot on Altis and he succesfully defended Altis for longest time, no other king before him could do that.
He succesfully fought off three invasions which achieved victory at all the other parts of greece but Altis.
Andronikos' army was divided into three sub-parts.
First one was Loio-stratos, which stood for the Altis' navy army which had ports in all gulfs at Altis.
Loio-stratos was a revolutionary army as it used unique ways to fight, usually consisting of one which has been known only to the Altians and has to be done precisely to succeed.
It consists of two ships, one fast and second one slow and a strong rope or chain connected between them.
When the fast ship got near the enemy's ship it - using the rope/chain long enough - went all around the victim ship and aimed back towards the slower vessel.
Slower vessel has usually a strong and piercing medieval-ram like thing which then went through defensless ship's weakest part and succesfuly sank it.

The Loio-stratos sailors had their own specific uniforms, they usually worn with-green-natural-color soaked herbs which shown their fellow sailors where they are in case they fallen off board, also it was combination of herbs that Loio-stratos army believed to be sacred and tied to the sea, wearing these and dying in the field resolved of warrior entering the Cannibal-heaven-like place.
The fleet has usually (in every gulf) three pairs of these by-two cooperating ships and as a back-up had around 5 medium ships used to board the enemy vessels.
Second one was Toxotes-pezos-stratos, which stood for standart army consisting warriors and archers.
Archers were using special kind of arrows which didn't have a big piercing effect, but had a big stopping power.
The tactics utilized by Toxotes-pezos-stratos were that the warrior section usually covered behind their big shields which were paint with various faces (mostly angry, sad, agonic or broken mimics) showing them to enemy and crushing their morale.
The archer section commander, called Toxotes-igetis then, using his own bow and skill calculated the best elevation for arrows and shot few meters away to warrior section, awaiting for enemy to approach.
When enemy approached and started running, bunked warriors' commander, called Pezos-igetis then gave the signal for archers to start shooting by telling his men to start punching their shields.
The spear section usually stood first, hidden behind shields with the ax section right behind them, when the Toxotes fired their arrows (they had to do it from close distance because the shape of arrow didn't allow it to fly too far) the arrows had a big stopping effect on enemy, resolving of him to start panicking and collapse, after this the axe section rushed forwards slaying the collapsed enemies, these tactics were very effective, combined with mountain-y shape of altis, it could be utilized almost everywhere.
They usually wore green and red colored clothes, green symbolizing their peaceful nature when not triggered and red their anger towards peace distruptors.
Third section was called Ischys-stratos and was the only kind of army ever formated.
Because of Altis' location and it's strange spiritual powers that occured (and are occuring) in there was created a special command unit, which was the most powerfull of all of them but very rarely used, as the use of this force caused the spiritual powers of Altis to decrease, because it's soldier-monks were gaining the power to fight from them.
This section had three commanders that were deciding if to go or not to go into battle.
Their names were:
Pnevma-akouo, this one commander has biggest word on deciding, as he was the one who was chosen to speak to spirits of cannibals' ancestors and usually spent days discussing with them whether it's needed to use the spiritual forces to fight off the enemy or not.
Dikastikos-Nomizo, this one commander was acting on behalf of justices' and kings' side. His job was to decide whether it's correct and really needed to use the spirits to fight off the enemy, he was often facing the moral decisions and has to be able to assume if the Toxotes-Pezos-Stratos/Loio-stratos were able to fight off the enemy or not.
Ischys-Ypologismo, this one commanders' word on deciding has the smallest weight but in return he has a strong power upon deciding how to use the spiritual powers.
Ischys-stratos were wearing very long dark brown capes and usually had an amulet around their neck made of things that are closed to them.
There are only two so-far recorded battles where Ischys-stratos were utilized, one of the record was unfortunately destroyed when the Brits invaded the land and burned the house of knowledge, Spiti-gnosi to the ground.
The second one has been preserved and goes as following.:
"When the invaders arrived
And many people were slain
The king Andronikos decided
"We'll banish them to hell!"
Slowly watching as they took our land
The spirits spoke to our command
As one of them shouted
"No! There is no need!"
Then the second spoke:
"They came with nothing but greed!"
So they've been deciding for days
Thinking if there are the other ways
Some time later, they have decided
Of how to use their hatred
"The ground below them will be opened"
Their gods for them have awaited
As word spread the army was fully dressed in red
Ready to march, go forward and make the enemy shred
So they went to war with invaders
Wishing for god's favor
They've met in an open field
Known as Ifestiona
Enemy stood bravely, bloodthirsty and wanting gold
For him we were ready, perfect state and loving blood.
Then what happened, none will believe
The sky has closed, card pulled from the sleeve
Ash started falling, burning like a coal
Enemies started bleeding, we reached our goal.
Retreating, running to their boats (thought of "Brother, may i have some oats?")
Bleeding, in ground opened holes
Following the enemies, coming to the shore
Looking at these cowards, observing the gore
Then from a second, what happened do you know?
The sea ate them all, before the day was gone."
The remaining cannibals on the Altis believe this poem is something to be proud of and are looking for their prophet, which is told to be able to do things like Ischys-stratos and at the same time have character of the two kings and a queen.
The last king is called Georgios, (white part) he was the king who owned the "flattest" part of Altis, where he was able producing all of food for the whole Altis, at the same time, he was responsible for the matters of trade and exports.
Georgios had five layers of people.
First ones were called Trofi-Anthropos, those were the farmers responsible for growing and producing any and all food on Altis which wasn't brought by traders on their boats.
Second ones were called Kerdos-Anthropos, these people were almost only men, their job was to work in mines, cut wood and do overall everything that was consisting excavating building and crafting materials.
Third ones were Oplo-Anthropos, their job was to forge arms for the king Andronikos' army, they were spread throughout Altis and have been very valued for their skill, as it is because the only people allowed to forge must've been neutral in their whole life and mustn't hurt a single human, they are also the only layer of cannibals which don't eat any meat, they're vegetarians basically.
Fourth ones (and very importnant) were Katastima-Anthropos, they were basically traders, and were importnant to everyone in their daily life.
Like Oplo-Anthropos, they were spreaded throughout the Altis as well, as they were needed and valued.
The reason they were valued was because not many people could calculate back then and the traders must've been humble, honorary and loyal so they wouldn't get corrupted.
The fifth-and the last- layer was called Archontia, these were basically aristocraces and they served to the king Georgios as overseers of all the people, from the mines over the farmers to the traders, their job was to make sure noone will be doing any evil.
This ancient civilization was believed to be the most harmonic back then, as it was the most less strict place to live in that time, people could change their 'working place' (but only if they worked for three years, that was the only condition), everyone had his own place to live and there were big feasts at the end of every second week.
As for cannibal matters, there were people which were to be picked to feast on, as these people were mainly criminals or people which offered themselves to be sacrificed to become ones with the spirits and watch over the Altis land.
Meat of criminals was believed to be cleansing, as it was already filled with bad energy.
Cannibals believed that this kind of meat washes away all your sins you've done in previous weeks.
As for the feast themselves, the body was eaten whole, but only the head had to remain, as it was holy and even if you were criminal, your head -which representated the personality you were- was to be left untouched.
The cannibal heaven was called Kreas-Thesi-Paradeisos, it was place where all the spirits go and from there they overwatch the Altis.
Upon now, it is my duty to gain more people which i believe have the cannibal traits in themselves and recruit them to help us find the new Prophet, which'll lead us towards victory achieved by banishing all bad forces from the Altis!
