Banned! I mean really, BANNED!?? For what.

Lets kick this off shall we.

First off no rules have been broken that I am "charged" with (Banned for selling on the server)

Now, your hole setup gives the impression that you are a mature and professional staff that runs this forum/server, however that is nowhere near the case thinking of the way you acted on this matter!

Locking the topic so no further conversation/discussion can occur. Banning without any form of "evidence" and last no chance for me to get on ts. No questions regarding my offer. Have I actually made a transaction with anyone from the server or not?

Furthermore just be honest! Only reason that would not be allowed is that you want monopoly on the money flow. Sorry but total bullshit!

To reffer to my original (now locked topic) I dont mention anywhere that I have been selling on your server. But I guess you go ahead and ban every member of your playerbase in fear that they put some money elsewhere.

How we acted on this matter?

You, by offering the opportunity to trade real life goods for in game goods have broken a server rule.

Therefore your thread was locked and you have been banned from the server.

There is no discussion in this. The rules are written to ensure the vast majority of people who come here can play and socialize is a relaxed environment without having to deal with this kind of rubbish.

This is not about controlling money. every member here makes their own choices in life. As long as these choices do not break the simple ground rules then there is no problem.

Since you're obviously naive to how this server runs i'll leave this thread open to any questions you may have. (for now)

Exactly GP. there was a warning pointed to me (which is in place) and any players that was involved. Yet no players from the server have been involved, other than the guy positiv to the ide. Which further proves my point. Why wouldn´t it be a relaxed, socializing environment if such service was available for the ones that choose to use it?

But agan, the warning (which is totaly in place for breaking a forum rule and by offering such desocializing and hostile service) escalated very quickly to a ban because... I dont know, Didnt have a chance to respond to the warning.

I might be naive.

Because, then if you do not deliver the service then people will come moaning to us about it? We do not allow these sorts of transactions for this reason.

Calling it immature behavior is hardly correct, If somebody bans you for breaking a rule, then its YOUR fault for breaking that rule, not the admin or the staff team.

Alright, that makes no sense at all... Why would they donate if they do not get anything directly, if you are offering a direct service to them? That is like setting out to buy some clothes, and then end up buying a dishwasher... Its two completely different things, one is a service (your service) and one is nothing but a donation.

Next, if we wanted monopoly on the money flow, why would we have a give to charity forum? If what your saying is correct then surely we would not have that because you picture us as some money hungry people?

I'm sorry, but you are going to need a much more convincing argument in order for me to do anything to aid you getting un-banned as at this point throwing around assumptions is really not helping anyone at all.

If you don't like how we run our community, then leave, if you want to be unbanned, create an unban appeal. Both are very easy options.

I believe monetization of the actual game and in-game experience itself via Real-Money-Trading is against the Licence Agreement we as players, and ALUK as server providers have with the game's developers - Bohemia Interactive.

This is not any different to getting banned for powerlevelling World of Warcraft characters for real money. Real life should not interfere with Altis Life. Full stop. They are separate. In the game you are not you outside of the game, that's whole idea behind role playing. Playing a different role.

The admins can also ban for any reason - and it's only adult (and also in the rules) for you to respect that decision. If you had read through the rules as you're supposed to before joining and playing - you'd have seen your idea is against the rules. I'm even pretty sure there's a concrete example  of organising a race for real-life items/privileges that is basically applicable to your venture. I'd support you being banned proactively, because as Ciaran said - even if allowed and you took peoples money and didnt deliver the goods, it's the admin team who would bare the brunt of it, and it would sour the experience for other players.

If you want unbanned then open an appeal and this time actually read the rules and if you dont understand them or you have questions - ask a mentor or an admin on TS (if they're available to help) or even just ask on the forums. If you dont want unabnned and you're just going to throw your toys out of the pram - take it elsewhere.
