There actually was a variant of the Microsoft LifeChat that I used before which had a pretty good microphone, but it was uncomfortable and audio quality from the headphones itself wasn't the best.

That model, wouldn't really be any good (unless you're opening a call centre any time soon)... Can't imagine using a one ear headset...

 
Looks alright if you plan on answering customer service calls half way through your game...

It enables you to keep your gear clean and fresh so you can get your sponsorships and earn that cash money. It also allows you to mop up any spillage after pulling out of the battlefield with your lucky lady, unless you're going to try perform the Superman or something....
