I shot at a police officer without engaging in RP beforehand (speaking to said officer)

Why should we unban you ?
Me and a friend were robbing a petrol station at the time, the police turned up in full force so I opened fire on them once they landed. I did not understand that us robbing the place wasn't enough RP to start the fight. I understand now that I should have said something before firing but I believed that since we were robbing it, it was pretty obvious that shit was about to go down.
As I said I understand what I did, and that words should have been spoken beforehand.

I have taken my time off the server to review the server rules to ensure this won't happen again.

Rule that was broken:

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

Why I was banned (In my own words):

I believe I was banned because I started shooting (and also killed i think) a police officer whilst robbing a store, a helicopter had landed with at least 4 member of the police force and I thought that there would be an immediate shoot out, I shot (and killed) an officer and was then shot down myself. Shortly after I was banned by FADE for RDM. From my understanding I was banned because insufficient amount of roleplay had occured to allow me to shoot at said officer(s), but I had thought because I was robbing a store and the police had come to what I assumed as "full force" that a sufficient amount of roleplay had played out and that the possibility of being shot whilst approaching a robbery in progress was implied.

Sorry for renaming the post, I assumed the staff wouldn't look at it because they would see "awaiting player" and think I hadn't responded.

If you were to unban me, I will continue to revise the rules frequently to ensure I provide and maintain a high quality of roleplay and ensure the roleplay is fair and as fun as possible for each participant if the situations allows.

Yes I did, but I clearly hadn't taken it all in completely - I understood that I made a mistake and had infact reported my own comments on other appeals to get them removed. I accept any repercussion for my actions.

edit 1: Please bear in mind my lapse of judgement occurred a week and a half after the appeal was first posted - This isn't an excuse but it's certainly a factor to take in as it is enough time to forget a rule or so.

edit 2: Something that can be taken into account as evidence of me reading the Unban Appeal Guide (although not concrete proof) is when I had asked " if a ban wasn't replied to within 6 months, would it become a permanent ban" or something along those lines followed with "I thought i read it somewhere but can't find it now". I thought it would be under the rules page and had forgotten where to find the Unban Appeal Guide at the time.

Golly was a nickname my friends had given me because I would always talk about random stuff at school and Golly is used to express surprise, so I was nicknamed Golly, and Wong is my surname irl. I didn't even realise Golliwog was a thing, I've never heard of the term before.

If the name is considered offensive I will happily change it.

You've shown a snapshot of the definition of the word which supports what I have said, and the word "golly" is very common in the area I live in. Furthermore doing a google search for "Golliwog" and having a quick look on the Wikipedia page, it says the fictional character was created in the 19th century and was popular in the UK and Australia as a toy in the 1970's. I'm 19 years old, so if you can do maths then it should be clear to you that this is at least 19 years before I was born.

Finally, you are claiming I am playing stupid, in other words, you're saying I'm stupid for not have heard of a term that is no longer used, even well before I was born - With the utmost respect I believe you are completely ignorant to the possibility that I have not heard a word from almost 50 years ago. If the name itself was really a problem you could have just asked me to have changed it rather than insulting my intelligence.

I will be changing my name to Aarron Bent. Aarron being my irl forename and Bent because I will roleplay as Vincent Bent's brother (_no1inparticular), which we have discussed and he has agreed for me to use the surname and allowed me to rp as his brother.
