I believe I was banned because I tried to defend myself and my friend against robbers and it was taken out of context

Why should we unban you ?
I didn't get a chance to defend myself, the guy robbing us screamed "PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" as recorded in his video. I shot and fired at them in self defense as my friend and I were not about to get robbed with the load of Aluminium we had.

RDM is a "Random Deathmatch" what I've done is not RDM, as the Deathmatch started when KH tried to rob me, but I understand that had he not have tried to rob me, it would be considered RDM

RDM is only allowed in certainy RED ZONES and doesn't apply in self defense, your rule ((2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).) means you can only shoot at someone if it is for RP reason, in my case, my reason was self defense. My teammate was technically VDMing , your rule ((2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).) states that there is no excuse to VDM, not even for RP reasons. IMO you should change the rule to allow VDM ONLY for RP reasons, which still allows the MRAPS vehicles. Have I gone off topic?

Yes, but RDM still doesn't apply to what I've done, I've been wrongfully banned.

What I want you to do is look at the accepted/declined reports to get a proper understanding of what RDM/Low quality roleplay is. Once you’ve done that, you can submit a new appeal and tell me if you still think what you did was acceptable.
