In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for being very homophobic and immature in chat for no reason other than I was being a fanboy of another community and at the time, for no reason at all decided I hated this community without even trying it. ((1.6) The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues. )
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
The past 6 months, I have been trying out different games and widening the genres I play. I haven't played much Arma as recently I haven't been enjoying it as there aren't many communities that are still big and growing. Also, most communities now have a very toxic player base (hypocrite for saying this) but I just don't like the player base on many servers currently. From what my friend told me this server has quite a clean player base. I have been preparing for my GCSE's coming in a few months. I haven't really been doing much to be quite honest.
Why do you want to return ?
I want to return as I feel like this is one of the only if not the only server that has a good player base that isn't just completely toxic. I have a friend that has started to play this server again and I was talking to him about it and he said that the server is actually really good and fun. It made me want to start playing Arma again as I've already spent 3345 hours on the game and have been looking for a different community to play in. Most of the other communities as i've already said are quite toxic as over the years new players come along and ruin different servers which is quite prominent in a server I used to play almost every day. I want a server where there is RolePlay but at the same time PvP and there is constant wars in the forum about whether there is too much of one or the other as that is what can ruin a community. I also want to meet new people and new friends on this server as well as actually giving it a try instead of being an immature child spamming the chat with homophobic slurs. I deeply apologize for what I did back in 2016 and hope you will accept this apology.
Why should we unban you ?
I believe I should be unbanned because I have changed and matured since the time I was banned back in October of 2016. Since then I have played other communities and games and have become less toxic and am against toxicity as there is just no need for it. I don't know why I did it in the first place because it's not like me to say things like that and I completely regret doing it. I can't change what happened but I can guarantee it won't happen again and I won't break rules on this server if I were to get unbanned. There isn't a solid reason I can give you to unban me because what I did was very wrong and I would understand if you don't forgive me and decide not to unban me. I'm just hoping to have a second chance and I hope you can forgive me for what I said back then.
