In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was playing on the server on a different steam account (/id/jameszf) and I had no idea i was banned from RPUK on a previous Arma account. I went to teamspeak to get help with something and Stavik asked me about my other account he had found and told me I was banned for racism over a year ago. So I was technically ban evading but not intentionally as I switched accounts for Arma and had no clue. (If I was ban evading I wouldnt use the same name or IP). Thats still a mistake on my end however and I don't expect and leniency on it.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

Ive been mainly just focusing on my games development course in college and expanding my personal skills. Besides from that I've been playing Arma in my spare time or CSGO.

Why do you want to return ?

I didn't know about the old account being banned and I've invested alot of my time into the server recently and had alot of fun along with having my police application accepted. I really enjoy playing this server with friends and it has actual RP (unlike other servers I won't name). Overall its just a really enjoyable and fun server and Im frustrated that I can't play honestly.

Why should we unban you ?

I honestly cant remember how I was banned for something as severe as racism as Im definitely not a racist person and I was so embarrassed when Stavik told me my previous account was banned for that. Ive been playing this server for a few days now with friends and I've been having a great time on it and even had my police application accepted. I didn't intentionally ban evade as the ban was over a year ago and I hadn't even given thought about being banned on an old account. I cant remember the events that led to my ban at all. However, the fact I was banned for racism means I was being an idiot or was trying to be funny and its absolutely not acceptable and I certainly wouldn't tolerate it on a community I was part of. But as I said previously Im not a racist person I really dont get how I could possibly have been banned for that unless it was a joke or I was being immature at the time.

Even though the ban was from a long time ago I know this appeal will likely just be overlooked because of its severe nature, but all I can say is I was probably being an idiot at the time and I really feel I deserve another chance on this community.

I'll give you one final chance to get your story straight.

Im not lying at all. Let me explain my situation fully since its hard to understand with two accounts involved. I've been playing recently on my new main since Arma was on sale and it was the only game I was missing since I switched from my old (banned) account since its shared with a friend because he bought alot of the games on it so I got an old steam account on playerauctions and switched, but since I hadn't had Arma on the main until the recent sale I would use the old account to play arma. I forgot about the ban on the account i've been currently playing on and obviously got banned for ban evading/racism (being the previous reason of the ban). My ban was 20/01/17 so well over a year ago. The reason for the kick message from a month ago was likely me scrolling through servers looking for something to play (at the time this was my only Arma account). I likely realised I was banned and moved on without any thought of it. I'd never actually invested any time or effort into RPUK until recently and if you look at the old accounts playtime on the server I can assure you its low and with no or little assets. 

Its a really complicated situation I've got myself into and I promise you theres nothing im trying to hide or frankly lie my way out of. I was banned over a year ago for racism, I forgot about the ban and started playing on my new main without thought for the ban.

My initial claims of you lying still looks pretty correct. 

The language you used on our server was quite frankly disgusting, certainly not something you'd forget. I can't fathom how you'd be unsure if you had been racist or not, the fact you've even had to think if you'd been racist makes me think it must be such a regular occurrence for you that a single incident would be insignificant. You also abused members of the staff team and were discriminatory towards them as well.

We don't want you here.
