Taking the feedback onboard from the last Milsim test and after doing work regarding the fairly major issue of not being able to re-join if you d/c or crash we believe that we've been able to resolve the issue.  However, another test to get the server properly loaded will be needed to ensure that it is actually resolved.

If it is resolved (and we're pretty sure it is!) this test will hopefully be the last one meaning we can move on to fully getting the milsim system setup with campaign missions, many, many more mods and all other manner of fun things.

Details for this test are as follows:

  • Date: 26th October 2018 - @7:00pm UK Time for brief and setup - Mission Start will be at 7:30 pm.

Please ensure you are in the Milsim Waiting room by 7 pm so we can provide the brief and get everyone connected and geared up so we can start on time

[*]Please ensure all your mods are downloaded and installed prior to Friday.  If you need assistance post in this thread and we'll attempt to help if we can

[*]We have 1 additional mod added for this test.  Mods can be found by clicking here

  • If you have played with us before(or have previously downloaded the mod loader) - UNLOAD ALL MODS in the launcher then re-enable the "Official RPUK Milsim Loader" - It will prompt you as normal to load the other required mods which will download the new one
  • If you are new to milsim subscribe to the loader (linked above), then on your Arma 3 launcher under the "MODS" section, ensure everything is unloaded and only load the "Official RPUK Milsim Loader", it will prompt you to load all the other required mods.  If you are missing any required mods then it will automatically subscribe and download them for you. (easy!)

For assistance setting up the TFAR Teamspeak Addon (required!) see the description of the Milsim waiting room
  • Ensure all your mods are installed and working prior to 7pm.  After 7pm we will not be able to delay the mission start to assist with mod setup.

[*]Saving mods as a preset is not supported by this method and any changes made to required mods will likely prevent you from joining.

As per normal, scenario info will be released closer to the mission, however, we can confirm that the Air Team will see some action (brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt?) and there will be a return of the multi-objective scenario.

These are only test runs so we can get performance issues and whatnot ironed out. At the moment it’s not super serious and roles aren’t assigned bar for squad leaders.

Once we’re happy with the performance and can move onto doing “full” missions (all the mods etc) we’ll likely start adding in some more serious elements without going overboard

Scenario Info:

We can confirm that an agreement with the local government has been reached regarding Altis International - Due to the assistance we provided in securing it and saving the hostages inside they have agreed to let us utilize the space at the southwestern side of the airfield and have full access to both runways for the foreseeable future. We have sent a technical support team to start setting up an operations base, however, this may take some time to complete.  NATO has delivered several jets for our air teams to utilize as we see fit.

After the re-taking of Altis international, several enemy assets were observed via drone and satellite to be tracking towards the northwest.  We have once again sent scout teams ahead to see where they end up and will report back any findings.

Is the ace medical system going to be used, if so will it be the basic or advanced version?

It is, yes.

As far as I know, seeing as we are still in the testing stages therefor only using Basic. Upon us doing enough tests to then start being serious, It'll likely be switched to advanced.

Confirming the above is correct
