Clarification - Fishing from Shore

Can I get clarification (from staff) on the official position regarding fishing from the (distant) shore?

Some of our gang were told to desist and warned by an staff that it was unrealistic/glitching.

Anecdotally, others have been told (by stealthee ?) that it's ok?

Just want to make sure we're all on same page; and stop the gang feeling they've been treated unfairly/differently.

Fishing from the shore is okay and is intended at certain areas of the map, if it lets you near a body of water then that is okay (if you find areas like fishing on concrete then report that as a bug and don't use it).

The fishing stuff is due to change really soon, but the currently LIVE Server implementation is the above.
