Rather than instantly, make it take a couple of seconds.

maybe like a repair kit, where it makes you emote and gives you a percentage bar? not make it too long, but not instant. maybe 1-2 sec?

could also do like with a few LSPDFR mods(or atleast more commonly used there) where your character opens the door first, unsure how that would work for the boot given
