I'm going to assume that's a no then to having your own footage.
I find it quite hard not to see this as a petty report, considering I imagine you didn't feel concerned enough in the moment to record it. However, once the footage was provided, you put up a quick report, skipping QE. Now not wanting to delve into this too deep however you have a recent ban for something not the same but similar with the difference of pulling someone out the vehicle first, it would seem like this could have been a way of proving a point oppose to actually wanting action taken?
Additionally, the vehicle stolen, the chase and the discord message all where not against you so I am left to question why you are reporting me and not Leon? What was your involvement in this situation?
Right, so my point of view on what took place:
I had been in the area previously interacting with police and then someone who was left someone quite confused after being stopped, having 170 odd drugs taken then let go.
Very shortly after this, I see the 2 cars drive past which is when I followed and the start of the first clip begins.
I followed Leon into the fuel station and in all honestly didn't see the other car (I assume that was you idek). I ran over to the police car and didn't really know where the RP was going. I checked the door of the police car and found it was unlocked. Before I checked the door, I was unsure if it was or wasn't locked so standing around chatting to the officer first was only going to raise their suspicion.
Once I was in the car I wasn't going to sit around and antagonise the officer hence why I drove off.
To anyone who has experienced the Maverick Delta character, as of recently he has stolen numerous police cars, commonly lockpicking them when left. Whenever I do steal a police car however I usually go back to the scene to return the vehicle or drive it to a local police station so to not permanently affect whoever vehicle I stole.
This leads us back to the second clip, I was back at the scene looking for the officer who's car I took and like I said previously I didn't see the second car pull into the station so I assumed he may still be there on foot, once I realised he wasn't I drove off and spotted another officer. At this point, I had full intentions of returning the vehicle hence why I claimed it wasn't me who took it and I wanted to return it this way I would have reduced the chance of getting arrested.
The whole time I was following him I 100% had the intention of returning the vehicle however it was a split-second decision right at the end that led me to drive away.
Now to comment on the discord section of this report. After the events took place I messaged Leon commenting on not locking the vehicle, Leon has been an officer for a little while now and I was referencing quite a common mistake. After which I sent him the videos of it happening. To say this was "gloating" is just simply not true, stealing 1 car is hardly the highlight of my night.
To comment saying "and potentially another way to rage bait Leon into acquiring this vehicle back" now this is just such a far-fetched accusation it is unreal. By the time these messages were sent I had already hidden and parked up the vehicle and had no intention of letting Leon get it back. So to say this was my intention is baseless and farfetched.
Now when I saved the Medal videos and titled them I first titled the video "How to steal a police car 101" This I thought summed up the video pretty well, it was only based upon the name of the first video I titled the second video "How to get a chase 101" the title of the video is not an indication of intention. I understand how when linked with the actions taken it can look bad however there was 100% intention to return the vehicle until the very last moment, there was no intention of baiting for a chase.
Now finally to reply to some of your comments, you say I know that you guys "cant truly do much" Well this is false, you have the option to tase me (Like Leon tried to do), Leon could have stopped refueling way before giving him more time to react while I was hot wiring the car or chased me with the other car... If you would prefer criminals to stick around after they commit a crime to give you a chance to react well that simply isn't going to happen. Then that could delve into the realm of baiting as I would be waiting to be engaged...
Your second paragraph frankly confused me:
In the second clip provided you can see even naming the clip itself How to get a chase 101 shows that he had no intention to RP however simply just bait you can tell in the officers tone of voice that the officer was tired as such as ourselves and we simply wanted the car parked up and all Log off for the night however Maverick doesn't and simply uses it as a way to bait and get chases for his own benefit.
It is not my concern if you are tired and want to log off or not, my only concern is roleplay. You say I "simply uses it as a way to bait and get chases for my own benifit", this not only implies I do this often which is false, additionally what benefit do I stand to achieve?
Ultimately I still struggle to see your involvement in this whole situation, to me this is quite petty you are reporting me for actions not really involving yourself, this would have been much better come from Leon than yourself.
