Why do you think you were banned: I logged out while waiting to be revived. Had been dead for around 30 minutes which I now understand is a violation of the rules.
Why should we unban you: My previous request was denied in which outlined the situation well I thought, so I'll just give some more insight into the situation that caused my death. While on a taxi run back from Paleto, a player rammed me driving a local car multiple times causing me to break down, at no time did they speak to me so I already knew this was going to be a low quality RP encounter. I then ran from my car after pulling over into some trees and got chased by the player who stabbed me, I then waited for around 30+ minutes for the NHS but had to leave eventually due to IRL. I now know I should have respawned. I now understand the rules fully and this wont happen again, I'll respawn if this situation ever happens again and take the hit. In general I've thoroughly read the rules and learned from this experience, I have really enjoyed many of the RP encounters I've had on the server and like to think I can make this a fun experience for all. Given this, I hope you will see it as a positive gain to allow me back on the server so I can continue interacting with this great community. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

What would you do differently if you were ever in that situation again?

Could you also explain to me in your own words the rule C2.3 and why we have it in place?

In that situation I’d respawn and then log out.
My understanding of rule c2.3 is that it’s to prevent exploiting, and avoiding the circumstances of a character death in any way that you died.

That’s the aspect of it that I broke at least, in general it is to prevent exploiting in a number of events that involve your character. Like incarceration, kidnapping etc

Just to make sure you're aware, there is a edit function on your replies, you can edit them to prevent clogging or bumping your appeal which usually comes with a day cooldown.

For future reference if you are ever in a situation where you need to log out of a scenario pop a message in OOC or in discord (Can even open a ticket) just so we know something has happened where real life has taken the wheel just to prevent this happening again.

With this combat logging incident you had quite a lot on you when going down, if I were to unban you, you would have a inventory wipe of what your character had and any ban within the next 6 months will land you back here on a permanent ban per the Fair Ban System (FBS).

Yep I’m totally fine with those conditions, a shame to lose to portable jukebox as it’s just a useless relic from the past but I completely understand.
