Why do you think you were banned: G3.2: I`ll be honest this one has me stumbled upon reflection?

C1.7: Yeah this i can undertsand as i acted childish. I was angry and that`s no excuse.

C2.2: I think this one refers to the fact i had a prison fight and didnt fight back as to leave prison early, Stupid idea.
Why should we unban you: so firstly i wanna apologise to the 2 staff members i was rude to on the prison roof, they gave me more than enough chances to own my mistakes and communicate with them, i just acted childish and condescending. unfortunately i dont know their names but if you`re reading this... i`m sorry for how i was.

G3.2: To my mind i honestly dont know what this refers to that i did? I dont remember ever refering to somebody by the session id and nor would i ever as this clearly is bad rp.. you in any circumstance would need to obtain a persons id wether that be them telling you their name or showing you their id.

coming back to this as im typing.. i think this could be to do with when i was asking for the officers phone number via external comms so i could call him in game and give him abuse for locking me up.. again, stupidly childish and metagaming. i didn`t obtain the phone number by in game means so if i would`ve placed the call then no rp was held in any way possible and ruining the officers rp immersion because i was annoyed isnt fair on him.

C1.7: I absolutely showed no common sense in any way possible. acted childish because i made a mistake and got locked up for it so i disreagarded all rp in an attempt to obtain means of making the officers night a misery jut because i was upset and acting childish. i wouldnt want this to happen to me beacuse its fail rp and this is what its all about. i showed no thought to anybody elses experience other than my own because i wanted revenge and again for that im sorry.

C2.2: straight up no excuse for this, i attempted to use the prisoners to engage in a fight and not fight back so i could wait and kill myself to again go chase down the officer. exploiting in any way is the worse thing you can do and especially after being sent to prison where you are supposed to reflect on why you are there. i was to serve 4.5 hours and i deserved it for the offences commited. my sole aim was to get out and inflict harm upon the officer and again this implements a disregard to rp as i wasnt going to engage in any other way than just hitting him with anything i could.

my actions were unjustified and showed a serious lack of rp integrity. having taken a look back i could`ve handled the situation with the staff better and i would`nt be here now but in a way i glad i am so i can show you i know how rp works and that i can take this seriously given another chance.

As much as yes you were acting childish and angry, this wasn't the sole reason for the common sense - the main reasons for the C1.7 was due to you breaking C2.2 and C1.8

Even if you were to somehow get out of prison through what you were trying to do, you would then further break G4.3 if you did proceed with your plans if what you were doing was successful.

You were also banned for G1.2, I would like you to look back to your night of being banned and write up why you think you were banned for RDM as well.

i know exactly what you`re are reffering to as i have now seen the report. the knife attack in the hospital.

i`m not gonna sit here and lie by beating around the bush. i did it because at the time i thought it was funny.. rdm obviously isn`t funny as it ruins somebodies experience and is terrible rp. any future endeavours of violence from me will have a build up to it and wont be a needless act of violence.

I'm glad you've come clean about it and admitted you broke the rule instead of fighting it, it takes you a long way.

Now I have a question for yourself, can you explain in your own words the rules C1.7, C1.8, C2.2 and G1.2, and why we have these rules in place?
 
C1.7 - As a Roleplay game, every situation is different and not everything can be detailed within these rules and so it is important to remember this is an adult community and some things simply come down to common sense.

this rule is a plain as it is simple. just use your head and dont be an idiot, not everything is gonna go your own way and that jsut how it is. be a grown up and get on with it, dont act like a child when things dont play out how you want it to. if everyone cried when things didnt go their own way then it wouldnt be very fun would it.

C1.8 - Forcing or encouraging another member of the community to break a rule.

again, dont encourage somebody else to make the game not fun for somebody because you had a bad experience, every experience is different and using somebody else to break rules doesnt follow rp if youre trying to get a piece of information your character wouldnt have, this is also metagaming.

C2.2 - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future.

this is quite simple. using any form of method to try gain an ingame advantage unfairly is cheating and not fair on others. the exploit i tried to do was kill myself in prison so i could go kill the officer. this is also a fail rp and doesnt follow NLR rules as i should forget everything as i died. exploitin gis in my opinion one of the worst things to do and quite rightly should be punished harshly.

G1.2 - Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM. (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. “Put your hands up or I will shoot” and countdowns are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering violence.)

this was just silly on my part, i thought i was being funny and i cant explain my actions reasonably, its not fair on other players to be attacked for no reason at all after having no rp interaction. i was just being an idiot and was out to just injure other players for fun.

If I were to give you a chance to come back to the server what would your plans be for you character's story? Would you make a new one and start fresh?
 
Hi Mark. All is good thanks, hope you’re keeping well too.

I’m at your mercy here mark so please don’t apologise for taking time to reply to me, I’m sure I’m one of many things you need to do everyday so I appreciate you even taking the time to reply to me.

In regards to my story.. I would like to keep my story going with my current character and his reintroduction to life after prison and reforming himself. Holding down a steady city job and earning enough money to buy a little abode and a sub standard car to be classed as living the “los santos dream” maybe in the future he could be introduced to a life of crime and the city’s underworld of drugs and robberies.

I can understand with the happenings of my character to get to this point you may see fit to start fresh and use this as a learning experience and I would fully support any decision we come to.

With this unban comes with condition of:

Any ban in the 6 months from when you are unbanned will put you back onto a permanent ban, this is the system called the Fair Ban System (FBS).

Do you understand the above?
