Why do you think you were banned: Can't remember massively, however I think I was on one day and was getting tilted with some guy trolling me and I got shanked and just insta alt f4'd.
Why should we unban you: I do miss this server and community, some of my close friends still play and I was just getting in to it before I stupidly combat logged. I want to come back and have the same laughs I had before and see where things go, I regret combat logging and understand where I went wrong and it wont happen again. These rules are in place for a reason and I broke one of the most simple ones. I've learnt from my time off the server and hope you can give me a second shot.

Combat logging is a rule we take very seriously as it can interfere with alot of roleplay & effort put into situations.
In this case you mention you got angry and logged because you didn't like how a situation played out.

Is this something that happens more often with you? You get angry and basically then break rules?

Not really no. The situation wasn't at all pleasant, we were getting trolled by a group of people that kept spamming punches at us and then set our vehicles on fire. And, after having dealt with them for some time, when they incapacitated me after 'trolling', it just ended up spoiling my experience and I took the immature way out. Looking back on it, I should have dealt with the situation in character, and then, I should have just reported the situation so staff could have dealt with it better.

I understand now the importance of having to stick through the scenarios until the end so that they come to a close, and all parties involved are able to progress. This is something that I regret dearly as it has stopped me from being able to create stories and scenarios within RPUK.

This is very true, whenever someone else decided to break a rule, it doesn't give you a green card to do so too!
Although it may be frustrating we still require of you to keep roleplaying the situation out and then if you feel a rule has been broken ask them to a liaison or report them.
Sometimes there is more to a story than meets the eye and we encourage players to talk to each other before going to reports.

Do you have anything specifically in mind?

I have some friends that play on the server daily and they have made a name for themselves here on RPUK. I'd like to get my character Jerry developed by giving him a storyline and focus more on long-term notoriety. I know, that with the right 'type' of people around me he will make a name for himself.

I'd also like to possibly make a new character and give the Police Service a go, as I used to RP as a cop on other games; like ArmA. Some of my friends play as officers and love it as it gives them a 'purpose' within the community. I sometimes get shown funny clips of situations that they are involved and it brings me some type of nostalgia looking at what can be done within a video game.
