    Im trying to find a RP video from ages ago. It was about some hobo in a zamack truck that had a stutter in his voice i think he was kidnaping someone. Would like to watch it and also show friends if anyone knows who it was. Cheers

Nah its got nothing to do with a gunfight cause there really wasnt one. i knocked clean out by a cop. its the shit roleplay they did. can't go along with anything . just what the cop rules are is what it is. i have had 20 times better roleplay with PCSOs.

    Not saying this in a bad way but considering covid19 is a pandemic and people can die from it i don't think any form of roleplay should be allowed on the server. It's no joke. I play on the server to get away from all the shit about it and it ends up there too. @Jaffa

    @Jessi Think of it as 'art imitating life' and remember that in Altis, it's just a coughing meme. And it doesn't survive a server restart, and was just a bit of 'gallows humour' from our resident prodigy during a moment of insanity. I can't say it won't ever return, just for a session or two, but it's not something that will feature heavily in the AL world going forwards.

    Some of the others do have a point, though... even if they can't all make it well. Guns, poverty and hunger all kill millions IRL, and we have all those on the server too, but nobody complains. In fact, many seem to revel in the first, to the extent of forgetting it's meant to be about roleplay as well. I think it is fair enough to touch on 'difficult' subjects on a roleplay server from time to time. Raging against nature or the human condition is one thing, and it can sometimes be cathartic or enlightening to toy with such subjects - even if only as an outlet for frustration. 

    But of course, nobody wishes to cause anyone any personal offense or IRL stress, and so I say don't take it too seriously. Altis isn't RL; it's just a poor mirror, where you can explore these concepts safely. And you never have to, if you need to take a break. There's always our GTA or DayZ (good luck with the Zombies though...that's even worse, imho!)

    I think the issue here is that the Corona virus hits close to home for a lot of people in the community whereas gun violence is non-existant for most. Therefor the virus RP can be far more triggering as loved ones are in danger.
    I understand your point and your fear but sadly I am afraid we can't stop the community from certain forms of RP. One of the things you can use is when you're uncomfortable with a subject is inform the person with a // message. Usually when people are mature enough they will respect your wishes and change the subject/RP.

    I'm going to give you a specific ruling on this one, as with roleplaying about any other subject that may cause distress, offence or general feelings of discomfort this rule applies:

    (3.6) Continuing to roleplay subjects of a sensitive nature after being requested to stop by another player. Permanent Ban

    We're not going to ban all mentions of the cornavirus because quite franky, it's on everyone's mind right now. But what will say say is don't take the piss, don't be weaponizing this to create drama and rile people up, common sense please.

    I can't get fiveM to work. First install it said i didnt have GTAV. 2nd install i signed into my social club and then fiveM disappeared off my PC. 3rd install my AVG saying its giving me a IDP.ALEXA.51. virus.  Anyone that can help me will me very appreciated. Thanks.

    When i click on fiveM im getting this message (Could not find the game executable (gta5.exe) at the configured path)  Anyone know how to get it going please. Thanks

    Re-Install FiveM and make sure you've clicked the correct directory (The one where your GTA5 Is saved to) The issue you have is that GTA isn't installed where FiveM thinks it is.

    @Warwick Hey i reinstalled fiveM and not its not even launching.  

    (Nm it popped up very late)

    I logged into my social club on the fiveM now the shortcuts don't work and fiveM has disappeared.

    The server restart time is 1 hour too early and gives no restart messages. It restarted at 7 not 8.

    I don’t really handle comps but pretty sure you can put one in for unannounced restarts if that is what happened. Not sure what it covers though.

    This may be a stupid question but i don't know if its a thing. I know you can prestige in like apples when you hit level 1000 then prestige in diamonds then you will be prestige 2. What i'm wondering is let's say you get 300 in apples and 500 in diamonds then 200 in oil will you then be able to prestige that way?
