    Howdy Roban,

Didn't you have a different profile logo last time we spoke?

Yes, when these photos were taken, we had a banner snow year.  This year has been rather light, in the snow fall.

Thank you for the kind words regarding my horses  😉  They are happy most of the time  he he.   They are very opinionated in that they let me know when, how, were and sometimes why they want what they want  lol.

All-in-all, they are my life, and I have a symbiotic relationship with each of them.  I just have to remind the big guy from time to time that he is not a lap dog  lol  He is the reason I have nerve damage in my neck.

Anyway, As you know, yes, I wanted to join the police force first.  However, when my application was denied,  a friend suggested that I was probably not ready for that sort of RP, and that being a medic might be a better start.   After thinking that over, and as I have had EMT, and SOR training in the past,  I decided to go ahead and apply to the NHS.

That, in itself, has been a rocky start while trying to play.  With equipment failures, horses going through the fence and running a muck, and finding the time when training officers were online.  in addition, I kinda felt like a fish floundering out of the water with the lack of key-log knowledge lol  But I am dealing with the equipment issues, and I have been playing as a civilian to learn and navigate the different key-board controls.  In hindsight, I probably should have done that first.  But everybody has been very kind and patient with me while I learn this stuff.

I will tell you that, once I feel comfortable as a medic, and have advanced in rank, I will again apply to the police force as I still believe that would be fun RP.  And everything I put in my original application I still believe. And I would also enjoy you taking me ob patrol  😉

You take care of yourself, and have a wonderful evening

    regards

    Chip

Yes, i had a picture of myself the last time we spoke 🙂 As an Ex-DR, SMTO and AVM in the RPUK NHS, i can say that you get a lot of roleplay experience to play as a medic. I work at a hospital, and medical training in real life is always useful 😉

Horses going thru the fence? Hope they where not hurt by that.

I Hope i'll run into you as a medic sometime 😉

    I'll see you around 😉

I thought it might be also.  😉  I so look foreword to jumping back in once I have my equipment back.

And no, no horses were injured going through the fence  😉  Just lost some fir in a few places but that grows back.

And I am sure we will at some point run into each other  😉

    Cheers

Best laid plans are always subject to change at any moment.

I am so excited to RP as a medic, but have yet to find the time for more than a couple patrols.  And even then,   something always seems to come up  lol.

But I'm optimistic.  As a  Rancher with horses and responsibilities here on the ranch,  finding time to RP is a balancing act  that I am doing my best to work out.

One problem is the time difference.  Finding Medics that are still online that I can patrol with,.

But it'll work it self out  😉

Everyone's circumstances are different. Have you done your initial MTO ride/patrol?

    Hello Stealthee,

Yes, I have as short lived as it was.

As I stated, my first patrol was cut short by equipment failures, My second patrol was cut short by my horses crashing through a fence.

The last SMTO / DR. that took me on patrol gave me a de-briefing, a few good RP suggestions,  and we parted ways.

    Hello My fellow patrons,

Well, this is truly a very happy day.  I passed my interview and am now a proud member of the NHS!

A new chapter in my life as I have much to learn.  I look foreword to the challenge,  meeting new and interesting people, and just having fun.

If we run into each other in the game, please be patient with me as I learn how to properly navigate through this new life.

    Cheers

    Chip

    Welcome to the team, matey!

Most first responders know that whenever possible, the art of medicine consists in amusing the patient.  This tends to focus the patient on you, thus allowing you to better tend to their wounds.
