It's not a "bad" gaming laptop... But it is a laptop. Not sure what kinda warranty you'll get with that, but if you find that it starts to break once the warranty period is over, depending on how it's built, you may run into issues, some manufacturers solder in / glue components in which you really really don't want to be messing with.
If gaming on the go is a huge deal to you, then sure; perhaps it's worth it. But for me, I use a chromebook for my day-to-day work and just have a nicely upgraded PC at home, with the knowledge that if the CPU died tomorrow, I could replace it without having to buy a whole new PC.
