...a TIL thread and I cba searching the entire forum to see if one already exists, but I've have just been having a good look through the rules and today I learned that RDM doesn't apply in the red zones.
It made me chuckle because only the other day I escorted someone to a rebel area so they...
This.
I saw the thread title and was going to reply, but without knowing the type of things you may enjoy it's a pretty hard question answer.
I do have one recommendation that I can give and that is Weaveworld by Clive Barker. It's a book I've read multiple times. It's a dark fantasy book and...
OK, so I've been trying for ages to figure out how to embed a video on the forum. I've tried iframes and BB code but I can't do it. Can anyone help me out? It's driving me bonkers!
Cheers
:)
I also use FLStudio. I have just started using it again and I have been watching videos to try and remember how to work it properly. I make dancey type tracks with rapping/singing and I also used to do scratching but I sold my decks. Not sure what you'd could call the style though.
I've been...
@SamatlewissYeah, I was searching all last night trying to find an answer but couldn't find anything relevant.
The microphone is a Rode NT-USB. It just plugs in and plays and doesn't require any drivers and I have set it as the default device. I do use Voicemeeter to split the in game audio...
I have just got a new USB microphone and I'm having problems with the audio from it going out of sync with the in-game audio. When I watch the footage I have recorded the in-game audio starts to lag behind the microphone and it has me really puzzled.
I use DXtory to record and Sony Vegas to...

I have been looking at these microphones recently, they are usually £120ish but I put the RRP that is on the Amazon page. Was close to getting a Blue Yeti but changed my mind after posting on the forum the other day. I was even...
Shame it only supports DDR2, it's like finding chickens teeth for sticks anything over 2GB. I know because until recently I only had 2x2GB and finding 4GB sticks that weren't a small fortune was impossible, except for cheap looking stuff on eBay and I didn't fancy getting that. It was cheaper to...
There's a UPS on the server where I work. I could probably replace it with a shoebox painted black and the manager wouldn't notice. I am only half joking when I say that. He called me in one day because 'ZOMG the network has gone down!'. I had a little look, flipped the wall socket switch back...
@lionel A friend was telling me the other day that I could use my memory to store files on, like a super fast hard drive. I know that I only really need 8GB (I bought two sticks of 8 as it worked out cheaper) for the stuff I use my pc for but I cant see what I could use the 8GB for...
When I was looking into deleting the page file I read that setting it lower would prolong the life of my SSD. It was set at 16GB before I changed it and from what I understand windows had access to all my memory when writing the page file. I don't really understand it fully so like I said I took...
After reading this I went and checked out the about disabling the page file. I read a lot of conflicting information so I decided just to decrease it from 16GB to 1GB just to be on the safe side :)
I just checked the AT2020 out and it looks like it needs a 48v phantom power supply and it doesn't connect straight to USB port. I do have a pre-amp for my Shure SM58 so I could use that but I was really trying to avoid that tbh.
I think I'm going to get the Rode NT-USB as I can also use that...
@samatlewis The cable on my headset started getting worn because it was getting twisted so I did a botch up repair job just to keep it from falling apart. The fact that I've folded it up and wrapped it up with sellotape means it goes a bit wonky sometimes and I have to fiddle with the volume...
So I have been thinking about getting a USB mic as the signal from the microphone on my headset is pretty bad. I've been looking at the Blue Snowball (£50ish) but I've read quite a few bad reviews saying that you have to be really close for it to work properly. I then checked out the Blue Yeti...
Would it be OK if I posted some new videos that I making for my Youtube channel on the forum. I have just found a load of musical stuff I made a while back and I am editing them with footage of me playing CS:GO. I'm not very good at the game (hence the Cannon Fodder part of my name) but I...
