Add more UK immersion.

Hello,

Thought i'd put forwards a suggestion to add a bit more of a UK immersion to the server as I feel it lacks a "UK" vibe. I once played a uk server where they had UK roads including cycle and buss lanes, signs and bins. I know this is a little thing that in theory no one will care about but seeing as we aren't allowed to add more branded clothing to add to the uk immersion I feel this would be a great way to improve it.

The Scotland Yard sign is copyrighted imagery, the server cannot use it. Also, we don't have Scotland Yard in the server, because we're not in London.

The UK pack contains real life companies such as Openreach, which the server generally stays away from including because of issues with copyright.

More personal preference, but the UK police stations always look out of place to me, and many are of low quality

I feel like gangs having head bandanas and baseball jackets makes it feel more American. Changes to gang clothing and even just the UK roads would make a huge difference. +1 from me

I've seen this MLO in a server, it looks great. They wouldn't sell it for £45 if it was low quality.

With regards to the Open reach electric boxes, is there no way of changing it to I dunno say "Token Reach" or somthing like that?

Sure, it's possible to change things, but how many things would need changing? How much dev time would that take up, given the ever-expanding list of other jobs that are of a higher importance?

Okay so what you've just said will bascially undemime every suggestion that people post on here as everthing will require dev work at some stage. Surely deleting the stuff that is copyright over editing would be more time effective. I'm only asking for roads/signs and bins.

The recent update was regarding the delivery job was a good update, just hope the dev's can continue to output updates like this.

+1 on the stations, both the Sinner St and Traffic HQ are actually quite nice quality and give the place a much more UK feel, generic non-specific UK Police branding too! The stations we've got now definitely have a very American feel to them, especially Davis

As much as I'd love the UK Police Stations, I couldn't agree more... they all look like plastic

I feel like this was changed to be more of a UK Themed. As such gangs still had their colours, but it wasn't varsity jackets or hoodies with massive logos and rather it was just coloured hoodies, bomber jackets, and tracksuits but the gangs hated it and reverted back

Personally, I feel like changing the roads, signs etc.. does not work on GTA. The map is very Americanized. You slap a few British signs about the place and it just looks out of police. Yes we are a UK themed server however, I guarantee if I put in loads of UK map assets the world will just look crazy (I've done it so I know!) - The little things work, major changes make it look silly.
