I didn't know you were Scottish 
I must say I think we suffer a similar illness - a lot of the time I too am afflicted by Foreign Accent Syndrome and my typical British accent turns somewhat less sophisticated. My brother suffers the same malady, where his cockney tones turn more sophisticated.. Maybe its hereditary, do you think we're related?
