Am I allowed to charge someone for a taxi ride?

I was just talking to a few people and they said don't but I want to so yea. Sorry :/
If you want to charge then charge, it's an RP job at the end of the day.  What you do with it is up to you as long as it's within the server rules.  How you make people pay however, is up to you

Of course you are allowed! I mean the license use to cost £1,000,000 so you had to make some money back! It's up to you if you charge or not but always take into account the rules you have to follow while on-duty as a Taxi Driver.

(8.1) Using the ARAC or Taxi spawn points for any purpose other than the implied duties is forbidden.

(8.2) Being a Taxi Driver on the server is another of our unique roleplaying opportunities to help and interact with other players when they require transport from A to B. We have rules in place so people do not abuse having this licence.

(8.2.1) Taxi Drivers must be using the Taxi while they are performing Taxi Driver duties.

(8.2.2) Taxi Drivers should not use the Taxi Driver system to target players when they are at their most vulnerable, i.e. broken down in the middle of nowhere and asking for assistance. When not playing as a Taxi Driver, you must not acknowledge any messages sent via this system.

(8.2.3) Taxi Drivers are not allowed to perform any illegal activities (robbing/stealing/killing) when they are in uniform. It is a purely role play activity.

(8.2.4) Taxi Drivers are exempt from rule 3.4 when on duty.

Thanks :D

It's kind of the main purpose of a taxi driver. Agree the fare in advance though ;)
K thanks would a fair fare be 1K per kilometre? Or less?

End of the day, if you agree the fare in advance, then fair is whatever the passenger agrees to.

Might just be easier to have a flat fee, but it's up to you.  The passenger will soon tell you if he thinks the price is fair or not.
