Another Boosting Thread i guess.

I think most of us can agree that boosting is something alot of people would love to see in the server but i guess alot of threads lack content on how to do it so i will try to do a more detailed suggestion about it.

The way it would work:

-There would be certain classes of vehicles S,A,B,C,D (Cypress i believe already have a list of these)

-The way it would work is everyone regardless of group or no group could either craft or find this boosting device in some sort of other activity which they have to plug to their laptop so no one is restricted from being involved which is what's needed at the moment.
-There would be Reputation with the boosts, obviously D starting as the lowest boost you can do with no payment required to get involved in it. While C,B,A,S would require some sort of payment (a suggestion as to what the payment could be is for example wads of cash or Packed Cash that way it links with other criminal assets already available on the server)

- The reputation levels up to the devs but an example could be you need to do like 20 successful D boosts to unlock C boosts and then 40 successful C boosts to get B boosts
-Once you get to B boosts i would say this is where it gets a bit complicated and there could be a penalty for losing a boost which would be losing a small amount of rep lets say for example each B boosts gives you 3 points on your "Xp bar" per say you would lose 1.5 points if you fail it along with obviously the wads or packed cash you paid to start it.

- When you reach B boosts, you would unlock a new category respective to the boost so you would only be able to get B boost cars, which would be to buy vehicles for let's say the import price or maybe even a percentage below import price for dealerships but not just a regular buy you would pay to do the boost to have a chance of getting it and EVEN if you do get it if you commit any crime relating to firearms it would be a insta scrap
- To make the previous point not something that breaks the economy, i would suggest that 3 groups take over the cars that are placed into the boosting "store" per say in terms of the cars you can buy once you reach B boost in my opinion, the 3 groups that deserve it the most are (Cypress, AE and Bennys i guess) in which they would again pay a certain amount to do a boost to get the car they would be able to sell at the "boosting shop" so they cant just place cars they own into it they have actually to acquire them.

Example:

S Class

- Require Lvl 150 to unlock
- Require to pay 20 Packed Cash to initiate
- Gives you 15 Boosting levels and 40-50 Packed Cash if successful
- Lose 7-8 Boosting levels if unsuccessful
- Once Reach Lvl 225 unlocks S boost car shop (which again you have to do a boost to get the chance to get the car besides paying for it)
- Need 2 people: 1 for hacking on the passenger seat hack, 1 on driving (Hack would need to be done faster than in A boost)


A Class

- Require Lvl 75 to unlock
- Require to pay 10 Packed Cash to initiate
- Gives you 8 Boosting levels and 20-25 Packed Cash if successful
- Lose 4 Boosting levels if unsuccessful
- Once Reach Lvl 120 unlocks A boost car shop (which again you have to do a boost to get the chance to get the car besides paying for it)
- Need 2 people: 1 for hacking on the passenger seat hack, 1 on driving (Hack would need to be done faster than in B boost)

B Class

- Require Lvl 25 to unlock
- Require to pay 5 Packed Cash to initiate
- Gives you 5 Boosting levels and 10-15 Packed Cash if successful
- Lose 2 Boosting levels if unsuccessful
- Once Reach Lvl 50 unlocks B boost car shop (which again you have to do a boost to get the chance to get the car besides paying for it)
- Need 2 people: 1 for hacking on the passenger seat hack, 1 on driving (Hack would need to be done faster than in C boost)

C Class

- Require Lvl 10 to unlock
- Require to pay 20 Packed Cash to initiate
- Gives you 3 Boosting levels and 4-7 Packed Cash if successful
- Lose 1 Boosting levels if unsuccessful
- No shop
- Need 2 people: 1 for hacking on the passenger seat hack, 1 on driving

D Class

- Require Lvl 0 to unlock
- Require to pay 1 Packed Cash to initiate
- Gives you 1 Boosting levels and 1-3 Packed Cash if successful
- Lose 0 Boosting levels if unsuccessful
- No shop
- Need 1 Person: police only get alerted to the location of where the vehicle was lockpicked and the type of vehicle/colour.

Additionally, there would be a cooldown to do boosting so if you have done a boost you have to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour to be able to do another boost and you could have a boosting queue on the boosting app aswell where you have to wait for the previous boost to be over for yours to start, that way it doesnt put to much strain on cops.


I feel like this way everyone gets a bit of the pudin everyone can get involved and obviously 3 groups do get a small privilege but not something that makes the boosting scene locked behind a group.
As for the packed cash i suggested it so its linked with doing other crime to be able to do the boosting but again it could be wads of cash instead of packed cash.

idk about this implementation specifically but deffo +1 on boosting in general
 
+1 Biggest issue is lack of things for crimes to do, this would be a big addition and could be combined with mechanic shops and racing groups/ teams well.

I have experience using a script very similar to this. This outline is decent and would work well but what ever changes to implement easier or to make it unique could work too.

Along with the content for crims it adds more for RPU to do, something other than traffic stops on bikes from drug zones that drive up some stairs and get away.
