Hello guys i really need some help with my Blue Yeti i have been doing some test recording but my audio has this weird sound in it can anyone identify this sound you may have to really boost up your volume.

I believe @Fuelhas this mic, maybe you can help?

Otherwise, is it plugged in properly? Have you tried other USB ports? Any drivers for it? If so are they downloaded and/or updated? Have you got a device next to it that may be causing interference?

@Mr GraveSorry for the delay in replying, unfortunatyley this was posted in the worng section !! Shout out the the mods for moving it for me!!! Cheers.

Sounds like a standard power buzz, they are the bane of studio builders (have three under my belt so far).

its a little complicated to explain so I am going to cheat and send you to a youtube video here I doubt your going to need to go into all the detail, but its great to understand why its happening.

Try just touching your case, or wiring it to a radiator to ground it. You can always just adjust your levels to drown it out, but its a nasty method of doing it.
