Hello,

Earlier I was in the middle of a battle and needed to comp someone, but I was on another TS server. I pasted the address so the guy could sort it out with me, and I was told this was advertising... I did not realise this was not allowed, and if you check the logs you will see the context was absolutely not advertising, and was a genuine mistake.

I apologised straight away after on chat and explained I did not realise this was a bannable offence... It was not advertising, it was me trying to arrange re-comp but I couldn't switch TS because I was in the middle of a battle.

 
Also, I just lost almost 1mil because you banned me in the middle of a kit up...

EDIT: Spoke with RAM on TS, the guy who I was comp'ing also joined to vouch for what I was saying... For what it's worth, this does seem really heavy handed, I know rules are there for a reason but it was pretty clear this was not a malicious advertisement... I already apologised and explained the situation on side chat, and said I wouldn't do it again, it didn't need to go this far.  .You could have at least sent me a message first :/ And the most amusing part, I was just trying to do the right thing by making sure the guy got comped, I was trying to be a good community member... :X

Hello! Sorry for posting here, but him being banned saves me the time to report him. Here he is using a 408. cal (which is removed from the server) to kill a medic (which is a bannable offense).

First, the Lynx issue had already been discussed the previous day, in fact someone else raised a forum post about it too. I had been playing with a few random people I met, one of them was leaving the server for good and gave myself and a few others his kit and cash, which I was extremely grateful for. Later I discovered the Lynx was not a purchasable item, but it’s use was not explicitly rejected in the rules. As for how the previous user obtained that rifle, I had come to the conclusion an admin spawned it in and it passed down hands, and couldn't possibly speculate otherwise.

Secondly, I told you the medic leave the area as we knew police were coming, he refused after many warnings, and subsequently he were killed. However, given the overly harsh handling of the TS3 posting issue, which wasn’t even a violation given the context, I have no doubt in my mind that this ban appeal will be rejected.

Therefore, to save time on both sides, I’m going to withdraw this ban appeal and move on.

tl;dr - Appeal withdrawn, please mark as rejected.
